Thank you for making the separate post as suggested
Your post is very balanced and well analyzed
I hope the makers now just concentrate on Sanaya, Supriya, Anant Desai (Manav's Dad) and Anuj's talent going forward
But most importantly on Sanaya's talent as I am her big fan

Thank you!!! Agree to all your points ... as we have discussed many times before, the good points and the flaws ... the regular watchers of Chhanchhan and the genuine well wishers of Sanaya will know what I'm talking about.

Just to reiterate one point which a lot of people go on and on about ... the show was not narrated to either Sanaya or Supriya as a re-make of Khubsoorat ... both Sanaya and Supriya clarified it in their interviews, this was merely speculation by the media ... in the same way that the media named it Modern Bahu and insisted in calling it that for the longest time ... while the Sony website from Day one labelled it Chhanchhan. So for people to insist that it was planned to be so, and then express their disappointment that it is not, is rather ludicrous, in my opinion. As TM says, the first blurb on Sony website was about the 30 day challenge, which is exactly what we are seeing now.

Again agreeing with TM about the romance ... the romance aspect was rushed through and was unconvincing in the first two months of the show ... for reasons that are well known. Since the basis of the show is a love marriage, and Chhanchhan is not only strong willed enough to walk out of a marriage that is not working, but also is backed by a supportive family, establishing the bond between Chanchan and Manav is very important. They showed some romantic scenes, they are also showing Manav's support for his wife both in public and in private ... and the scenes are very real and are well done. A newly married couple are usually romantic in their bedroom ... that is a fact of life, and Sony as a channel is more open in such matters as its viewership is more urban.

About Chhanchhan getting more spark and chutzpah, while I agree with TM, I also feel that CC is barely a week old in her new home ... and while she is a modern girl, she is not a La (for want of a better comparison point). She is modern, but she is cultured ... and very few Indian girls will be completely outspoken in their first week of marriage ... they will wait to settle down in their new home first, before going against customs which the other inmates obviously have no problem with. It's a good lesson for modern girls too ... to learn how to think before you speak, and wait for the right occasion ... if you plan to live your entire life in a family, you don't want to antagonise everyone straight off.
Already in a week, she has overturned two customs ... wearing sarees, and no pets into the house ... because she has done it openly and with everyone's consent, it seems that she has no spark ... but hey, she has accomplished what she wanted to do ... and with everyone's acceptance. The rest of the journey will be much more difficult, but she is laying the base as of now ... it is barely a week in show time line that she has been in the house as a bahu.

About Sanaya choosing this show, TM has said it all, much better than I could ... I am not second guessing Sanaya's choice either ... seeing the shows currently on air, this is one of the more watchable ones. It was not so at the start, but the last three weeks or so has been good and getting better.
And I am completely with TM about the current TRP toppers as well as the recent award winners ... I find them unwatchable, but they get the ratings and the awards ... so I'm obviously not in synch with them. I feel the same about many BW movies as well ... so I'm no one to judge what clicks and what doesn't. I'm only concerned with my own choices ... currently CC is very much among them.

Its so funny to read that they are also cribbing over ChanMan's romantic scenes, fire scene ..blah blah...Pathetic!😡

I think they have taken TV shows very seriously and have forgotten that all shows are fictional...All actors are only going their job...

For awards and recognition, all I can say its all rigged...that's why actresses who are playing dramatic characters like Gopi, Sandhya..etc emerges as winners...

Sanaya has a huge fan following and makers very well aware of her talent..that's why she is doing back to back shows instead of hibernating herself like others...

I agree with this post that last show was taken so damn seriously that fans are forgetting these people are just actors doing there job and also bashing a guy on twitter like it's his fault in all this. They're not even her fan more like so called fans out there to ruined her image in a pathetic manner.

And the scary story is most of those people are in there 30's/40's who are cribbing and complaining talk about maturity!
