of course, the preaching bit is exactly what i expect to happen in today's episode.😉

Finally caught up with the episode. It was one of the better ones and was quite hilarious, they should really work on making this their USP.

The three bahus were hilarious, Ranjana and Chhanchhan took the cake. I agree with you about Sanaya's expressions and her pallu trouble were bang on, and she really never leaves her character.

I actually had no doubt that Manav will leave a message for Chhanchhan otherwise the intense romance of the previous day would be so misplaced, all evaporating in one go! However, I did not expect a hand written note with a rose to boot!

I really hope today they don't make it all sad and a pityfest with the "mudikhayi rasam". They need to focus on keeping it light and entertaining to be different.

Does Uma Ben have any redeemable qualities...future episodes sure will tell.

shoot some backstory for the romance, chanman remembering the courtship days .. at least two scenes.. so cc can "remember " it while busy with the weirdness of the borisaagar madness.

this give us romance, as well as a break from UB's nautanki :D

@dia, havent seen the episode yet, so i dont know if it happened..
but just the premise of making 300 rotis for the cows ... actually cc should have atleast one dialogue of the wastefulness of such a travesty. for a girl who banned wasting food at her own wedding, she ought to have strong feelings on this, right? at least one sentence to herself...

that is the best Idea I heard so far!! we will pass this on definitely!!! ⭐️

Jaya, that's a good idea ... manufacture some new "memories" of their romantic moments ... wish the CV's would do this ... especially if they want to keep Manav away for a few more days ...

You know, I had exactly the same thought ... that Chhanchhan should wonder at the wastefulness of the punishment ... and suggest that if they are going to make rotlas, why don't they make them for the orphanage instead, so that the kids can get some extra food ... or better still, ask Umaben if instead of feeding cows, they can use the rotis for the poor that her Mahila Mandal looks after ... this will work like the computer classes ... Umaben can't refuse, because the idea makes her look good ... and maybe the Mahila Mandal takes over the job and RS get out of the punishment.

I guess on her first day, Chhanchhan is too busy trying to adjust to her new environment and not make any mistakes ... and since she already made one big one first thing in the morning, she's in no state to think as coolly as she usually does ... or offer any criticism at all.

Diya there is another reason.. the rotla was for cows.. CC is big on animals.. she wouldn't say no to it..or ever call it a waste..
there is some religious significance also right? not in the magnitude that was done..but depending on the size of the herd it might not have been a waste...hm?

@showviewer ^^ Precisely, the sort of thing I'm not looking forward to see, a pityfest in that rasam! But I guess if you plan to watch this show, will have to be prepared to sit through these sequences, at least at the start.

Like you too, Im wondering if UB has any redeaming qualities, at the moment, I can see none.

By the way, is pallu and palla the same thing and can be used interchangeably?

I'm hoping Manav comes back at the fag end of the scene, sees CC crying on Umaben's shoulder, hears about the saree debacle and orders that she doesn't need to wear sarees again ... another of Umaben's plans down the drain 😆

Not gonna happen, though ... as we already saw CC in a red saree in the SBS ... pity!!! So brace yourselves for a sad episode ... when Sanaya cries on screen, it invariably gets me down 😕😭

Yes, palla and pallu is the same thing 😛

Hey, missed you today ... where have you been?! It was a fun episode ... the three bahus in action!

I hope they keep it light ... but I don't have much hopes for today ... it will be embarrassing for CC all through ... while Umaben gloats
I just hope we get a good precap or promo over the weekend to cheer us up. When Sanaya cries on screen, it invariably makes me really sad.

Umaben is looking very black ... I hope they start making her a little less dark ...

@sunara ... feeding cows does have religious connotations, so I guess that is another reason Chhanchhan did not object. She's just getting used to the excess of rituals at the BS home, she must think this is another custom ... and right now, she's not in the position to object to anything.

My Hindi is not the best being a south Indian, but I think one can use it interchangeably.

It is very difficult to sit through episodes when they play loud "impending doom" music (that's what I call it) and Uma Ben is smirking/ gloating that she made Chhanchhan's life miserable, then they fall into a cliche. To make it fresh and different they need to tackle the same situations in other saas-bahu dramas and twist it around, only then they will have a unique factor.

They need to keep it light and comical, despite an evil saas and her dimwit bahus, barring the new entrant and to some extent Ranjana.

I don't know how clever it is for them to end the week with Chhanchhan crying and being embarrassed publicly. Embarrassment and awkwardness can be shown in comical ways too. Sometimes I feel the makers are trying to cater to all segments making a bit of a hash. Find your strength and stick to it- should be their mantra.

Oh about UB, the only time I think we will see her crack is when she will either start losing her husband or ladla Manav in her battle with Chhanchhan or these two turn around and question her ethics and ways of keeping her family together, and we are very far from that.
