My Hindi is not the best being a south Indian, but I think one can use it interchangeably. It is very difficult to sit through episodes when they play loud "impending doom" music (that's what I call it) and Uma Ben is smirking/ gloating that she made Chhanchhan's life miserable, then they fall into a cliche. To make it fresh and different they need to tackle the same situations in other saas-bahu dramas and twist it around, only then they will have a unique factor. They need to keep it light and comical, despite an evil saas and her dimwit bahus, barring the new entrant and to some extent Ranjana.I don't know how clever it is for them to end the week with Chhanchhan crying and being embarrassed publicly. Embarrassment and awkwardness can be shown in comical ways too. Sometimes I feel the makers are trying to cater to all segments making a bit of a hash. Find your strength and stick to it- should be their mantra.Oh about UB, the only time I think we will see her crack is when she will either start losing her husband or ladla Manav in her battle with Chhanchhan or these two turn around and question her ethics and ways of keeping her family together, and we are very far from that.
