Either UB's plans come back to bite her, or CC bounces back ... either way, Umaben bites the dust. I am so waiting to see that happen ... watching her gloat tonight as CC trips up will not be nice! 😭 I hope they end the episode and the week on a good note ... or else give us a promo that will perk us up over the weekend. I am beginning to hate this four day business ... the week ends far too quickly!

That is so true!!! UB is gonna have a tough time ahead ... Sanjana and CC are clueless as of now, and Ranjana is crafty, so will be happy to help out in anything that gets her off the hook! And CC is not petrified of UB as the other two are, so that makes her far more difficult to control! 😆 Should be fun to watch.

Thanks 😃 The actors are all good, so their expressions are really amusing ... they convey the three different personalities really well. UB is soon gonna be tearing her hair out in frustration as the trio slips out of her control! Plus she is handicapped ... she still has to play the sugar-sweet MIL to CC ... she's caught in her own trap 😆

The background music was really bad today ... as Diana said, more suited to Comedy Circus than to Chhanchhan! They need to get a grip on that, the rest of the show is falling well into place.

Manav is really very romantic...loved all of their convos and the promise to come back and continue with their love story...

What a refreshing show Diya..and a very well written episode...apart from the BG scores...I became nostalgic as well...so many similar situations...every newly married girl can relate to it...

I am so glad Sanz took up this show...she is such a versatile actress...

hey Diana ... I agree it was a well written episode ...

Perspective from a MIL generation lady ... my mom watched CC regularly and she is going all gung ho over Chhanchhan ... as to what a sweet girl she is, she is modern yet she is making all the attempts to adjust to all these rules ... one must move with the times, this is silly to insist on out-dated things like pallu over head. It is the older generation at fault here ... they have to appreciate the efforts this girl is making and meet her halfway ...
(My mom takes her favorite serials very seriously 😛 )

My mom used to cover her head in front of my grandfather as long as he was alive. Her devrani, my chachi who is ten years younger than her, never covered her head a single day. Neither my grandfather nor anyone else had a problem with that ... the two were from different generations and the custom was already dying out .
So a well written episode ... the makers are showing how traditions have to change with the times ... if people of my mom's age can think this way, it's a good way to go.

I have been noticing this about Manek ... almost every talk of him is related to his health ... am sure that will come up in their track.

I love Manav as husband ... he is a total sweetheart! 😳 What an adorable hubby ... that "Jaan" melted me completely ... such a sweet endearment! Can't wait for him to get back and pamper his Chhanchhan ...

Makes me wish again that we had the pre marriage romance with Anuj...damn...Anuj where were you 4 months back ?

The rotla making scenes were hilarious...roti makers sale would surely have gone up. And i can bet there is no romance happening in that house between any other couple ...all the other men are so wimpy and boring...maybe Manthan carrying on something outside the house with the kind of wife he has.

If there is one thing I can completely relate to in the show then that is Chanchan's saree woes...but without the pallu..can't imagine what would happen if I have to wear a saree around the house the whole day and work and that too with a pallu.

Sanaya was awesome today with her expressions.

Its good they are keeping the episodes lighthearted and for now since this is the beginning its fine to show the interactions between the bahus but i really hope they don't make it just about UB and her bahus...the whole cast is wonderful so hope they utilize all the characters.

I too thought there would be something ... the guy is too smitten 😳 ... but I thought an SMS or a voice message ... when CC got the phone call from her parents, that put paid to that. But Manav is even more romantic ... a letter with a rose, no less 😛 We are all drooling over the Jaan 🤪 I can't wait for him to get back and say it in person

Chhanchhan's saree woes ... I think all young girls can relate to them ... most girls of her generation in big towns and cities don't even wear sarees any more as daily dress ... they are all into suits and western clothes. I can manage a saree ... but not while doing daily chores or working ... as for pallu ... no way!!! Sarees are now strictly formal evening wear ... I never wear them on a daily basis.

I know people who use roti makers regularly ... they make life so much easier! 😆 Especially if the lady of the house is working and also has to do the daily cooking ...

I knowww ... if only Anuj had been on board from the start, we would have had an awesome love track ... as it was, most viewers couldn't wait for the track to end and the marriage to happen! The stupidest mistake the PH made!!! 😡

She is unbelievably good as usual to bring out the smallest nuances of any character she plays to the forefront! absolutely amazing!! Such a versatile performer!! cz she was blundering but honestly it was so so very different from Khushi!

Finally I can say I am glad Sanaya picked this!! And am insanely glad to feel so finally!! phew! I was so worried!!

ROFL ... Ranjana and love hate ... yes, you were spot on!!! 😆 Sanjana is benign and harmless ... she will be nice to Chhanchhan anyway ... Ranjana has now seen that CC can be useful, so she will stay nice on the surface and maybe even help her ... IF she sees some good in it for herself! The actress is good ... she has brought out the nuances in her character very well!

hehe ... I can wear sarees without any pins ... I'm quite comfortable in them ... but not, as I said for work. But I wear sarees very rarely now, not even when back in India ... only for weddings and really formal functions, and around Diwali. Pity, I actually love wearing sarees, and find them the most graceful and beautiful dress of all.

Sanaya's body language is AMAZING ... that and her voice modulation. That is how she manages to make every single character she plays SO different from the other ... that was the first thing I noticed about Gunjan, which made me appreciate for the first time how good an actress Sanaya is ... and what an intelligent one.

Jaan ... red rose ... letter ... what a gem of a hubby! 😳 Manav. come back soon!!!! 😭

I am sure we would have had a longer courtship had Anuj been there from the beginning...even if they were not planning it initially the response to the pair would have ensured it and the show would have been on a much better footing...anyway better late than never.

I actually feel the missingness (is there even a word called this?) of the bridge cz before marriage there was nothing and now after marriage the perfect deep feelings filled passionate relationship is existing! cz this is what made sure that they got together.. this love and passion and possessiveness and physical desire all of them combined is what made it so easy for Manav to leave everything for CC without thinking twice!
I for one am always gonna be indebted for Anuj..phew!! what a wonder he does with Sanaya! matching her perfectly as a man should and as a ******* cannot!

@dia, havent seen the episode yet, so i dont know if it happened..
but just the premise of making 300 rotis for the cows ... actually cc should have atleast one dialogue of the wastefulness of such a travesty. for a girl who banned wasting food at her own wedding, she ought to have strong feelings on this, right? at least one sentence to herself...

Jaya, that's a good idea ... manufacture some new "memories" of their romantic moments ... wish the CV's would do this ... especially if they want to keep Manav away for a few more days ...

You know, I had exactly the same thought ... that Chhanchhan should wonder at the wastefulness of the punishment ... and suggest that if they are going to make rotlas, why don't they make them for the orphanage instead, so that the kids can get some extra food ... or better still, ask Umaben if instead of feeding cows, they can use the rotis for the poor that her Mahila Mandal looks after ... this will work like the computer classes ... Umaben can't refuse, because the idea makes her look good ... and maybe the Mahila Mandal takes over the job and RS get out of the punishment.

I guess on her first day, Chhanchhan is too busy trying to adjust to her new environment and not make any mistakes ... and since she already made one big one first thing in the morning, she's in no state to think as coolly as she usually does ... or offer any criticism at all.
