It has been just 5 episodes with a new lead, the actual story which was given in the first promos is just getting started, the new jodi is being promoted now by channel, many viewers who were watching for Sanaya but were turned off by previous male lead are slowly trickling in as they find out about replacement, a proof of that is the increase in activity in this forum.

Chhanchhan is also competing against well established shows, especially one which is a TRP chart topper. This show comes only 4 days in a week, unlike the others. It was also hit by IPL mania a week after launch.

Even if you check back MB TRP, they did not jump from low TRP to high in 5 episodes, it was gradual increase as the chemistry of actors caught on.

Like I said look at the top TRP shows none of their actors are super popular, that does not stop TRP from pouring in...neither the acting is spectacular or stories path breaking. The two shows you mentioned are love stories which are more popular among young crowd and in online forums. Another example is Sanaya's last show, which dominated IF during its run.

Family dramas takes more time to find acceptance and geared towards a different audience, many of whom may not necessarily be active on internet.

most of her fans watch it online ..and TRP 's are counted from only a very less portion of the entire population of India .. those who know it technically knows that its just foolishness.. from amongst the billion of people in India , TAM meters are installed in only number of thousands .. dont start arguing with me with the technical things behind it coz i very well know the details .. and a thousand meters can never give correct viewrship ..

plus the show when it started had even better trp .. its TRP crushed coz of the male lead ..AND NOT SANAYA..people where irritated by his acting ... he used to destroy combination scenes.. but now situation had changed the new lead is promising and good...

plus the show is only in its introductory stage .. u cant judge a show or anything at the introductory stage ...the shows of the so called actors whom u mentioned in ur post also had low trps ok???

whatever it is .. we are not bothered about TRP's .. we are enjoying the show of our fav heroine ...

if u love someone else involve in appreciating them rather than bashing others .. pity on u!!

BTW, if your post is not about a reasonable discussion about shows, TRP or their viewership and it is only to repeat that Sanaya is not very popular then have your say. You are entitled to your opinion, just like other people in this forum.

I would rather have Sanaya being successful in her work and being appreciated for it than any ranking on online forums or eulogies sung in her name. These only attract hate posts and abuse.
