Do you have anything to say about non Indians like me... I mean I am not an Indian so my TRP doesn't count.. What do you have to say about those thousands of international viewers... ?

I said maybe SI is popular abroad and not so popular in India 😉

These two things have no relevance to each other. But I would like to inform you that the show Chhan Chhan just began. How long have the other shows been on for? As for the TRPs, I don't know if they are the same as the Nelson ratings? If they are then your argument is quite baseless, as a few households do not determine the popularity of the show. As an International viewer, my viewing is not counted for TRPs. There are too may factors to be considered, so really, your statement is quite unintelligent.

It has been just 5 episodes with a new lead, the actual story which was given in the first promos is just getting started, the new jodi is being promoted now by channel, many viewers who were watching for Sanaya but were turned off by previous male lead are slowly trickling in as they find out about replacement, a proof of that is the increase in activity in this forum.

Chhanchhan is also competing against well established shows, especially one which is a TRP chart topper. This show comes only 4 days in a week, unlike the others.

Even if you check back MB TRP, they did not jump from low TRP to high in 5 episodes, it was gradual increase as the chemistry of actors caught on.

Like I said look at the top TRP shows none of their actors are super popular, that does not stop TRP from pouring in...neither the acting is spectacular or stories path breaking. The two shows you mentioned are love stories which are more popular among young crowd and in online forums. Another example is Sanaya's last show, which dominated IF during its run.

Family dramas takes more time to find acceptance and geared towards a different audience, many of whom may not necessarily be active on internet.

Well let me tell you the intelligent one that international viewers are not counted for all shows. And TRPs have been digitalised so they are now more representative
