@Tm: i agree to everything except San looking wan.. she looks stunning!! that is the only saving grace for this show for me other than for CC's cute family and their interactions!

I actually like the new promo Manav get into an accident soon Ekta Plastic surgery would work anything to get rid of this non actor.

yup I agree about the poor characterization and screenplay, I started watching show only for Sanaya
but now I watch 1 or 2 episode per week, that too forward some scenes
not a addicting drama at all for me atleast..

You can put an Oscar-winning actress, and you still can't save this show. There is nothing in this show, to inspire or induce interest. It is plain boring. No intrigue, mystery or adventure to the story line. All the supporting actors/actresses are a big yawn.

Whether you change the ML or not, it is not going to make a difference.

The large international audience have disappeared, Sanaya had compromised her fame and talent for this pointless show. Sorry for being harsh.

There are lots of sub-groups who have their favourites as ML. Honestly, none has appealed to me. On a broader note, you can't satisfy everyone.

Personally, I have lost interest in Sanaya too. She is a good and highly talented actress, but I am not going to stick around until she gets a better project.

Wish her the very best! She deserves all the adulation she can get.

While conceding that for any show execution is key, I disagree with your point on compromising fame and talent. An actor's popularity should not imprison him/ her from making choices. There is no actor on planet who did not have projects fail. No actor can worry about popularity and also be versatile. Additionally, how can anyone predict what will work with audience and what will not. No one signs a project knowing it will be executed badly.

Already avenues on Indian telly are limited, so it is difficult to to bring variety. As far as talent goes, it could be wasted in a show but not compromised. She is as good today as she was before and if she gets good scenes she can nail it even now.

I also wish if not this show, hopefully the next one she works on, has a solid story and a good production team to translate that story on screen. I don't want her to keep repeating love stories and get limited. But if you look at the top 10 shows none of them are either spectacular or pathbreaking or can boast of fantastic acting, so to get a project like that is a rarity on Indian telly. Sanaya's previous show was also not innovative in terms of story, and was quite predictable, but it was the execution and treatment which was liked. When even that wore off, it was the chemistry of leads which held audience. It is very difficult to create that level of chemistry for any actor again and again!
