Arohi may not be a pleasant character but she is an interesting character. Certainly cannot say that about the leads… It’s Tv, interesting and watchable are what count.

I love the fact that Arohi is immune to Abhimanyu’s gunda giri. He doesn’t intimidate her at all. She gives as good as she gets. Jijaji can growl and snarl all he wants - ye sab sirf Akshara pe asar karta hai🤣

you know I’ve seen this especially with young fan girls …especially girls still in their teens ..you’ll be surprised but there are many fans who are like only 15 years old…and they become so obsessed with a couple that they like basically see themselves in the female lead so they become so possessive and won’t tolerate any criticism and when there’s a third angle ..they spew so much hate on that character ….and it does not end there….it transfers to the real actress as well..I’ve seen this happen on quite a few shows…Facebook used to have an age restriction of 16 years I think..but Twitter, Instagram and India forum doesn’t seem to have that age restriction ( unless there is but people are lying about their ages 🤔) and there are some really young People on these social media platforms and they can spew alot of abuse…I remember when I was on the Silsila forum ….which had a very mature topic..as the show was about an extra marital affair …and the couple were a mature couple who were both doctors,..anyway.. the most arguments and support for the hero who was a downright jerk ( Abhimanyu is an Angel compared to Kunal)…came from a fan who we eventually found out was very young and still in school… Yes,..so we shouldn’t expect maturity and reasoning from many people on these social platforms ..as many are still extremely young who are not even adults according to the law 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow what a plot… actually something similar happened with the parents of a friend of mine. It was very sad. She herself cannot stay in any adult relationship for long because she is so distrustful and does things like check her BFs emails and texts. I’ll see if I can find Silsila on Hulu.

I don’t get the choices regarding Abhimanyu’s character at all. They could have made him an elegant refined character (as you correctly pointed out, that would fit his family dynamic as well). They were starting out that way. Also what was the need to make him into this angry celibate sanyasi who turns into a toxic teenybopper upon meeting Akshara?

Ok he’s a rich handsome surgeon who gets lots of female attention. Maybe show him as someone who’s a bit jaded and cynical, goes out with these women but just never finds what he is seeking before Akshara. And don’t even get me started on how many different and better ways his reactions to the exact same basic plot could’ve played out…

Threatening Arohi is really the lowest point though - it’s so rude, ungentlemanly, uncouth and unnecessary😡

Ankahi is the one I keep thinking about... I feel Natasha was a jerk and Kabir, who probably has had a difficult life already, did not deserve to be used by her for validation, affection, whatever and then just dumped😡

At least in Geeli Pucchi, Bharti gets the final word. But poor Kabir...😭
