What kind of wedding ceremonies are planned, if you don't mind my asking? Are you in the North or in the South? I've attended a few weddings in Delhi, but not for a while.

North Yaar Delhi walo ka padosi hu main, wahi sab tilak, vratbandh, haldi, sangeet, shadi, aur kya hi hoga.
My main attraction for attending those weddings was always the food (yes Eka yes!) and the music.
I'm trying to think if we ever saw much of North Delhi. I think we were mainly in South and Central.

A friend of mine got married in the US. They just registered it, but now they are being made to marry in India also by their families with some rituals.
Yep this is pretty typical - one of my friends had the same experience.
Another one married a white guy and they had the whole white church wedding in the groom's hometown and then an Indian wedding in a mandir.
The groom's family came dressed up like something out of a 90s Bollywood movie🤣
