And you said it all. Forget research, there is barely any attention to detail this season (butterknife surgery anyone??). The production values are dismal. The editing and camerawork is awful, it's like no one's even bothering to watch the shots properly. I suspect casting HC was their one budget splurge. But then, they are just writing whatever as they go along.
Abhimanyu did turn out to be a brat, who cannot apply insight to any situation beyond how it affects him. For a doctor, he massively lacks empathy. Akshara is a happiness pump who cannot apply logic to any situation beyond pleasing whichever loved one is being most demanding of her attention at any given time. Both deal in black and white thinking and have no sense of context or nuance (well, that could describe 99% of ITV, I suppose š).
At the end of it, Abhimanyu has low EQ, Akshara has low IQ - it's a terrible combinationš¤
