Good morning guys! 🤗

Finally, it’s weekend and as promised, here I’m with my review on BPKH. 😛

Honestly speaking, I actually liked the pilot episode, or more like the makers’ approach here. 👍🏼 I watched the first two episodes and then FFed through the third one. Surprisingly the pace is exactly as it should be. They are showing a complete picture and there isn’t much to question.

Now the bigger question is do I find the characters likable? Yes, I do. 😎

So far Indu is going on a linear path but she’s strong. And the best part for me was how supportive Indu’s father is. I also loved how they normalized him being a cook and the beautiful bond between him and his wife. ❤️

Coming to Ritesh, this one is a bit tricky. When you look at his gesture, you realize pretty soon that this is a fictional character. The chance of finding someone like him in real life is next to impossible. Specially him supporting Indu over his sister despite not knowing anything about her and using his senses properly was a bit too much even if you are an optimist. And yet, such characters make a place for themselves in your heart. At least that’s how I feel. A person who’s helpful enough to lend a hand to a complete stranger on a rainy night or who can see through people’s real intentions - as impractical they are, I would love to watch them on my screen, specially if the episodes are directed in a proper way. 😊

One negative thing I could find was the character of Mahesh. There was no head or tail to his story like he was all hyper from the second he entered the scene and his audacity to insult even Ritesh left me shocked. It was pretty unrealistic. 🤔

And also, they should have toned down Ritesh’s dialogue. His two pages of paragraphs on the importance of love wasn’t necessary. Even the most righteous person wouldn’t go around praising love when you get to know that your sister is married to a scumbag. Having empathy for Indu was one thing. But the way they made it all about love - I found it unrealistic and distracting. 😵

Last but not least - the baby was so freaking cute! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

For some reason, it’s a bit difficult for me to accept that Indu felt so strongly for the infant that she brought her home. But being a sucker for stories based on mother-child bond, I’ll give my logical reasoning a pass. 🤪

So, this is my honest opinion based on the three episodes. What about you guys? 😉

Definitely!

Totally wise decision. Even I had decided two episodes as I said for both shows, but Channa ek me am done and Saylis also will quit soon or see bits, cos ofc we know mess post mhrw! Main reason to see it was for her, literally nothing else. In mhrw she was sidetracked and I have been waiting for her since ages, you know that!

Gosh, you saw that show?!! That's really huge!

Good morning Madhura...

I knew you would. 🤗

I know. MHRW was a complete mess later on... And after that, I decided to never pick up Sikcand's shows even if they have my favourite actors (or even promise a good storyline).

And yes, I did watch two episodes of Udaariyaan only for KVG. I had seen two clips of his character and I quite liked it because his character was fun to watch. But once I watched the episodes, after the second one, I was sure that his character would be sacrificed at the end by turning him negative in order to uplift the two leads... and that happened too.

Hurray!! Even my weekend finally started.

Hi5!! Even I loved everything, execution and rain sequence as well, which was different. Totally agree, and I had told you there is a flow, story and you know what you are watching. Am grateful, ki do shows me se ek se umeed hai, and my sayli.

Now the bigger question is do I find the characters likable? Yes, I do. 😎

Ye to chamatkar ho gaya, behen.

Agreed, and it's strong and not cliche, my life is useless etc kind! Plus, loved the way she blasted and threw the ring on him too. Also, as you said her parent's bond, cooking was a refreshing change. In fact, I loved Indu's bond with her friend too, and her daydreaming about Ritesh and being in love was executed so well. Loved the range of emotions and transitions too.

Obviously, quite evident. I have mixed reactions, few things were likeable. Also, I loved his friend more, way more sensible. Wait, where did his sister pop up? She was their college friend. Agreed! Plus, you don't just run back of random strangers. But agreed, would like to watch it cos thodi creative liberty deni chahiye.

I agree, but honestly seen such characters. Also I want to appreciate his wife here, who welcomed Indu and her dad. She behaved decently when Indu came back also, and questioned Mahesh as well. Honestly felt bad for her cos she knew nothing and then your friends also just blast upon you.

And also, they should have toned down Ritesh’s dialogue. His two pages of paragraphs on the importance of love wasn’t necessary. YESSS!! Friend and frankly, won't you take your person at a side, console them than making them feel more horrible. Take her away from Mahesh or take them on a drive to lighten mood, and he ran back of Indu as if, I will shut up.

Last but not least - the baby was so freaking cute! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

You know how much I love this word, so definitely an adorable baby.

Obviously, that's why I started laughing, cos if actors ki speech sunke you start adopting kids, baat hi kya hai. But giving creative liberty, show aage nahi badhega. Just I hope they keep balance.

So, this is my honest opinion based on the three episodes. What about you guys? 😉

Finally am here, via Laptop post forever!🤗

Loved the way baby was showed in bus, curtain scene and the way they made that impact, one who baby sees first, thinks she is mother, and bond was developed beautifully.

How did you find Sayli's performance btw and others too ofc? But since you know she's my fav, itna haq toh I have to know your views. Like way I have always told in mhrw days.

Todays epi, pathetic water scene, jo shows love and cliche jhumka scenes, somewhere it seemed dumb.

🤣

Ab aise maat bolo yaar! 🤪 Bade mushkil se aaj-kal decent characters milte hain. To itna appreciation to banta hain. 👍🏼

Agreed, and it's strong and not cliche, my life is useless etc kind!

Exactly!

Plus, loved the way she blasted and threw the ring on him too.

That was badass! 😈 I also loved it when she said one day she'll destroy his arrogance.

Precisely! Kuch cheezo pe thoda over hi ho gaya. But as you said, thoda bohut creative liberty deni chahiye. His friend was okay. Oops! I was FFing so I thought the girl was her sister. 😛

I agree, but honestly seen such characters.

😒

Definitely! I really liked how maturely she handled the situation. And the exchange of looks between her and Indu - the solidarity between two women was shown amazingly. 👏

Are yaar! Ab chota sa baby hain, use bhi na bolu? 😛

Obviously, that's why I started laughing, cos if actors ki speech sunke you start adopting kids, baat hi kya hai.

Understandably. 🤪

Yeah, fingers crossed. 😊

Damn it! I FFed through this portion.

Umm, to be honest, Sayli too I found on and off, but majorly on. More than the portions where she was dreaming about Mahesh, I enjoyed the day-to-day life scenes like her interaction with her family members and friend. The dream sequence of the dad when he thought Indu might commit suicide was okayish. But I liked her most n the scenes where she was authoritative like when she threw the ring or in front of the bus conductor. Even the scene where she dropped off the baby was good.

Other than her, I liked the actors who are playing her parents, specially the dad.

Chappal maat fekna but Karan seemed artificial to me. Or may be it's because as we discussed earlier ki scene hi thoda unrealistic tha ki so much of enthusiasm about love and its importance. 🤔

Todays epi, pathetic water scene, jo shows love and cliche jhumka scenes, somewhere it seemed dumb.

🤣

Phir to accha hain ki maine nahi dekha. 😛 Waise bhi, continue to main karne nahi wali thi. Accha memory se bandh karu, woh-i behtar hoga. 😊

Niyati ka show ka ek pic dekha IG pe and already injured ML, doting FL. 🤣 Matlab hadd hain! 🤣

On a side note, you might know that Arhaan Behll is in GSMI. Aaj ka episode totally belonged to him. He blasted an elderly for his double-standard and uska mu khula reh gaya. 😈 Kya mast laga mujhe uss waqt! 😈 How I wish at least now such scenes make a prominence where the younger generation gets to question the double standard of the supposed respected elders!

Ye bhi hai, deserves appreciation.

Yes, even I loved that scene!

Agreed on bond of two women, her maturity.

Kuch jyada hi ff kiya tumne, yaar. Sister and yes that baby birth scene was done very beautifully. I loved that.

Mat bolo behen, lol.

Tfs your views on her, definitely some great scenes. But I loved some other scenes and definitely she needs to improve in some scenes. Scenes with baby, she did really well. Aaj the thode.

Yes, ofc her parents are natural.

Main kyu fekungi, even I thought he needs to improve and he hasn't yet got fully into it.

Lol, good you didn't. Ofc kuch ache scenes bhi the and ye bhi sahi hai of not continuing.

I didn't know that, he's great and definitely an amazing and a correct scene. We have always said this.

That's understandable. It's just the beginning of her career and she has a long way to go. All the best for her. 😊

Thank God! 😃

Yeah, let's give him some time.

Yeh poora hi off-topic hain but right after I finished watching, mere andar ka Daayan jaag uthi and I started wondering, agar Ansh ne aisa Ved ko sunaya hota woh to waha pe hi behush ho jati. 🤪

But ha, iska shre main Nikki ko dungi. 😛 Last time hum-ne discuss ki to usne poocha can the FL give Ved a run for her money when it comes to ansoo bahaoing and uske baad se kuch bhi sequence dekhu GSMI ka, Ved yaad aa jati hain. 🤪

Hence I am sharing this scene. Coincidence hain par iss scene mein Pari (Meera's character) ko dekh ke laga - Arre! Yeh To Ved Ki Beti Honi Chahiye Thi! 😛
