I am asking since I have no idea about the show. What is this about actually? I mean I know two friends get married to the same guy. And then read something like the ML being a con-artist or something but I think I saw some clip where there were two prominent actors. 😳 To mamla kya hain? 😳

Oh gosh! Horrible!! I have always felt this but industry is such, and I believe it's casting and directors call and doesn't seem to change. Unka kya hai if they are getting work, they are gonna do and earn.

Definitely. I told you before also, I don't expect Radhika or any other actor/actress for that matter to star in only content-oriented shows/movies. At times they'll do commercial projects as well and if we don't like it, we are free not to watch it. At least with different medias now a lot of actors are experimenting and trying to strike a balance which is really good. 👍🏼

But my overall disgust was regarding the entire process. Even in TV I have seen it quite a few times. Older actors get paired opposite to actresses practically their daughters' age. And yes, it's about the casting directors' choice but you can't just say the Superstars are so Doodh Ke Dhula that they don't interfere at all. I mean from Amitabh Bacchan's Suryavansham to Akshay Kumar's Laxmi Bomb - sometimes pairing has been horrendous but they kept going on. At least Amitabh Ji adapted fast but the next generation is just...

Well, everyone earns in some ways and shorter or dance projects won't hurt. Am not gonna lie and say crap thing coS even in that some stuff is good.

Well that I have always agreed with you. Even the worst projects have something good about it. But there's a limit to giving the benefit of the doubt. And when 90% of the plot becomes redundant, it's difficult to be satisfied with the good 10%.

I agree with most points and am even gonna say you defend Radhika way too much and she isn't that innocent. No one is, but had to tell this cos it goes overboard.

While OTT has its share of crass, one good thing post pandemic I have noticed is that more women-centric movies are gaining popularity there and for ones we can rely on acting. Like, I watched Jalsa last week on FF mode and Shefali Shah was outstanding.

And here all the hype I see regarding SRK's Pathan is his abs - pathetic!

I agree with you on Bollywood... Idhar bhi same case hi hai. Though the percentage of movies where the FL has something substantial to do are slightly more when compared to the south movies. Baaki nothing much special here too.

And yes, OTT does have its share of crass but now, women centric movies are actually gaining popularity.

Yes. I don't know whether I should call it a positive affect or negative but post-pandemic a lot of things have changed. Personally I have never been the type of person who would go to a theater and enjoy. I would rather lie down and watch a series/movie as per my convenience. But from my knowledge post bhatkofication in the BW forum, it seems now the enthusiastic people also prefer watching at home since it has variety.

And one thing I'm definitely enjoying is that earlier good actors needed decades for people to actually recognize their talent. Now at least it has become slightly better because in Web, they get to do so many things from so many different genres and I think that's really cool.

Precisely! And don't get me wrong, I used to like SRK the best among the three Khans and still admire his acting skills when he actually focuses on it. But I don't think his physique is that attractive. Is there some rule that if someone has eight pack abs and posts without shirt then we have to go gaga over them? 🥱 Otherwise, how are people cheering for THIS???

Oh definitely... With the pandemic striking and the theatres closing, people had to turn towards OTT for entertainment and they saw the variety it offers. And now, a lot of them have started preferring OTT to theatres.

I think so far I have watched 4/5 movies in theatre. But genuinely enjoyed watching Frozen & Frozen 2 because of the 3D experience.
