It's sad that most parents rely on their eldest as the third parent 🥺 you're just as much of a child and it's not your responsibility, no matter what the society tells you. As regards older siblings, what you say sounds great on paper, but Indian societal expectations are structured firmly around the eldest sibling taking responsibility. They are the ones that are questioned, younger ones get away. At least this has been my experience
