umm you may disagree from me but i would still say calculative not strategic. Dekh idk exact facts but mujhe lagta hai that danish and ayeza could have easily been big in bollywood with a single appearance only .ab its upto them ki wo aur open up hote ya nai hote after the movie. Because at the end they have to live in their country and be loyal to them. Honestly i am with india decision of banning them the logic behind seems logical to me, and i have seen many paki actors dont like it and say it was not a good decision obviously because of their own interest they would say. I know its not a place to talk about it. So coming back to point i feel danish ko chadaya gya tha ki you can bring back lolly wood and revive it. And wo kaafi confident tha and chad gya tha without realising how deep rooted troubles might be in lollywood i feel here his strategy went wrong but regarding his image he and ayeza both are quite calculative on social media since a few years not pehle when insta was new to all of us. But still danish is not strategic in his talk shows rather calculative, for eg when ayeza says ki mujhe hero se shadi karni thi aur meri hogayi and stuff and danish reacted to that calmly and calculative way not strategy , ayeza was trolled back for a few things on the show but not danish. I hope i am able to differentiate. Coming back to film point again, yaar dekh danish ke alawa maine kisi hero ke chat shows dekhe nai hai, fawad ka jo dekha hai vo bollywood talk shows dekhe hain, there is a huge difference how they perceive a question you know. I feel danish was pretty over confident that he can revive back but i gues no one else joined him in this stance much and things turn out quite opposite. Sooner he realised that he took an off.Idk ayeza was even a big name when they married but ayeza has always been in shadow and protection of danish. She likes it that way. She might be a huge name in pak but still she is far behind representing the country. Ab vo kyun hai i dont want to comment.
The word calculative is where I disagree with you. A calculative person is known for putting themselves first even while they have the ability to predict a timeline. Fahad Mustafa would be the perfect example of that...from calling Danish overrated, to welcoming him in the BigBang family, that is called calculative. Coz uska fayda hai.
Ayeza was not interested in Bollywood directly. She had made it clear ki ghar ki film karu phir bahar karungi. And tbh she would only suit Bhansali's period films coz she doesn't romance and stuff on screen. Danish would've had no problems because he is quite comfortable with on screen proximity.
We're talking about 2014-15, when borders were actually open for artists. They were coming and working here and we would watch them on TV. For whatsoever reasons, their meetings unfortunately for Bollywood didn't pan out. It isn't easy also to get signed on, hum log kitni bhi gaali de, but our industry was known for maximum yearly releases and was the only industry after Hollywood to have an international fan base. Baaki koi bhi country ka dekh lo, they are restricted to their own country and whatever population they have living abroad and have mainly a TV industry. Obviously now Netflix and YouTube have made it a lot easier for people to watch international content but Bollywood does have a massive reach.
As an Indian, I too agree with the ban for many reasons. I cannot even write some of them here since its a public platform and this topic is controversial. So yes, all Pakistani artists had their vested interest, which is why they didn't want the ban. Being in Bollywood would expose them to a bigger audience and help them gain higher stardom. Nothing wrong with that, but the entire situation got messed up badly.
About the Lollywood revival phase, dude they were gonna release films in India. Wrong No was supposed to release here along with Jawani Phir Nahi Ani. Lollywood was actually trying to make a name for itself and become an independent industry. Even the film budgets were pretty good. I don't mean only Danish's films but overall it was much better. And the cost was lower coz hero heroine crores nahi maang rahe they.
Danish imo felt proud that he was a part of that phase when good quality films had started being made. Obviously it wasn't easy because Pakistan had more TV writers and crew than for film toh bahot jagah the movies appear to be reminiscent of 90s-2000s Bollywood. And on paper it all sounds good, reality mein baat alag hoti hai.
Danish ko laga hoga ki films set ho gayi toh I'll do films, then I'll move to Bollywood. Ab 2015 ke baad ek ban hua, phir jab he was doing Haara Dil tab he was approached for Veere Di Wedding...wapas ban ho gaya. Ab Danish ko apna career growth dikh raha tha, but I didn't see any kind of attitude. Wahan ke attitude wale bhi dekhe hai humne, Fahad, Muneeb, even Faysal Qureshi.
Haan Danish made problematic statement on Instagram during Wrong No vs Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Uski zarurat nahi thi.
Lollywood ke revival mein ek aur cheez bhi thi, wahan ki janta was prefering to watch Bollywood movies toh phir jab profit hi nahi banega toh kya karegi industry 😆 There are articles on this.
Again, Ayeza and him are strategic when it comes to social media. Calculative is the wrong word because they aren't cunning people, they are smart who are showing just enough to the world. Calculative also applies to Muneeb, India ko dabaake gaali deta hai and Zee5 ka webshow bhi kiya. Dekh, khud ka fayda dekhte hi kaise rang badla. Zee walon ki galti, research toh karo casting se pehle.
Regarding that hero wala statement toh Ayeza khali fukat troll hui. Wahan ki janta pata nahi kyu har cheez mein trolling karti hai. Kabhi ek dum decent outfits pe, kabhi statements pe. Toh Danish mooh bandh hi rakhta hai and he weighs his words before saying anything. Voh shaant type ka hai toh mann mein pros and cons dekhke bolta hai when camera is on. Ayeza bhi ab aur mooh bandh rakhti hai.
And because wahan ke log choti choti baat pe scandalise hote hai you cannot afford to be very honest and open also. Fawad ki bhi baat ki na tumne, uska ek interview tha with Rajeev Masand. Fawad was talking about giving kids sex education at the right time. Uss time tak mujhe Pakistan industry ke baare mein kuch pata nahi tha toh sochi ki sahi hai, wahan bhi progress hai. But jab finally I started seeing Pakistani shows and jo ye last ke kuch years mein ajeeb restriction jaisa aa gaya hai, tab realise hua ki wahan kuch bol hi nahi sakte. Jaise tu soch Isra and Shahzaib ke jo photos release hue voh delete kara diye...like serious uss potos mein kya tha aisa? And sirf main accounts se nahi, but even fan pages se nikal diya.
Fawad ke Pak interviews are very shaant, he is also weighing everything he says. But in India he was much more relaxed. Coz lots of topics are not taboo here, we are much more open about lots of things. Wahan it feels like they live a double life, ghar mein more open and relaxed and bahar ek dunr reserved.
I wouldn't say Danish was overconfident ki akele kar lega but usko bharosa tha ki "sab badhiya hoga, main aise initiative ka hissa hu, saath mein badhe badhe naam bhi hai (Diva magazine photoshoot) toh jab puri industry judh rahi hai toh nateeja acha hi hoga, phir Bollywood mein bhi jaa sakta hu coz things are good between both countries"....ye pura kuch hua hi nahi. Bad luck bhi and other factors also.
Ayeza was the bigger name when they got married. She was already a star at the time. Danish ki stardom Deewangi se start hui, even though he has had many hit shows before. And I guess Ab Dekh Khuda and Haara Dil were the beginnings of him becoming a star until Deewangi happened.
Ayeza seems to be very reserved and protected and she's completely fine with it. She is also not overly ambitious but has been a part of such projects ki uske kaam ne usse star bana diya. Plus uska nature wahan ke logon ko pasand bhi hai.
Better hi hai ki she isn't representing on international platforms...kabhi speeched sunna, "kuch bhi" niklega mooh se. Yahan nahi likh sakti, details PM pe de sakti hu.
