I read a post on that forum and fom whatever I have come across till now, majority the FD doesn't care about her and Neil's engagement. They are mainly pissed off with her behaviour towards fans when they criticize Pakhis deeds and of course, her blindly defending Pakhi's deeds and blatantly refusing to accept that Pakhi is an antagoist.
Upar se, some time back when a few FPs had posted that Pakhi was violating Virat's consent (and something else too) when she was repeatedly trying to touch him even after him refusing, she had called out the fans calling them toxic people and some more names. Plus when the FD had trended boycott Ghum after the repeated mental abuse which was shown, she had again called them "Who the hell are they". All this created a huge uproar and hence even the IV was pulled down.
To be completely honest, I am not sure how much lease we can give to the FD either. Because I have seen people declaring they don't care about actors' personal lives but making the vilest of comments based on their on-screen characters. To itna dhula hua to koi bhi FD nahi hota.
But then again, I think Aishwarya too doesn't know how to carry herself. Otherwise itna upheaval bhi nahi hota. And as far as actors keep justifying their roles - it's sickening.
Recently I watched an IV of Radhika along with her other "Feels Like Ishq" costars where she said, it's not possible for an actor to play the positive roles only. Har story mein villain hota hain aur kisi na kisi ko to woh role bhi nibhana padega. I don't expect you to like my on-screen character blindly. But if I am doing a good job and you guys appreciate my craft - that's all that an actor can want.
To counteract her, I can say she is in a privileged state as she's basically doing movies and web but in TV, actors are over-exposed and they have to comply with the PHs more. But jis tarah se yaha pe actors apne characters ko justify karte hain, even that's not normal. Like I saw articles on how the actress playing Keerti said she doesn't think Keerti is wrong or the actor playing Sunny said he wanted to play a character like this. I mean, what even? Sure, it must be special for him as it got him in the limelight. But Sunny as a character has no substance. To phir itna justification kyun?
The fans too say that she did a good job in the initial days but now her acting has gone down. She doesn't even seem to make an effort. Plus some are saying that even Neil isn't acting well these days as he used to do till some time back.
They have indeed made a complete khichdi out of the original.
TBH, I would say Neil is a better actor than Rishi (Rono). But in case of Ghum, I find Neil to overreact a lot. No sane person would act in such a way. But when this melodrama is earning them TRP, who the hell are we to question his acting capability? 🤔
