I do ...some of them. But mostly my mom and aaji watch them.

Currently my mom is watching a bunch of Marathi serials. And I find most of them tortures 🥲. Mummy channel bhi nahi change karne deti 🙃. Me any my sibling literally sit and roast those shows lekin kabhi kabhi jab unbearable hojata hai toh ham uth kar chale jate hai kisi aur room mai.

I'll give you some examples of how tortures those shows are..

◇ There is this one show Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta remake of bengali show Ke Apon Ke Por...uss mai ek scene tha where Fl drops glass of juice and it falls on her head and her husband was next to her on treadmill rushes to save her but slips due to the spilled juice. He hurts himself due to the broken glass pieces and falls unconscious but before getting unconscious he puts khoon ka sindoor in her maang 🤢

The only good thing abt this show is the FL's beautiful naavari saaries and jewelries. The title song of this show is very melodious.

◇ This next show I am gonna tell abt is also from the same channel. Sang tu aahes ka. This is more abt mocking ghosts 😂😂. Iss show mai literally the ghost gets scared of humans and its fellow ghosts. I used to watch it before like for 30 eps but then I got bored. Concept aacha hai show ka but the makers are stretching it like a rubber now.

◇ Honar soon mi hya ghar chi. Ye wala show toh meri Aaji ka favorite hai. Last year lockdown mai it was again telecast. Starting mai ye show bhi aacha tha par as usual they ruined it.

Iss show ke bhi songs aache hai. I still listen to them.

◇ Pudcha paaul urf Saath nibhana saathiya. The hindi one was a remake of this show. My mom and aaji used to watch this when I was small. Sab shows ki tarah ye bhi accha tha starting mai but baad mai turned tortures. Bohat saal chala ye show...I guess 5 or 6 years tak.

Lekin apart from these tortures shows there were even some good shows which I still love .

♧ Khultya Kali Khulena. Ye Mayuri wala show hai. I could never watch it completely but it's was a very nice show. I used to watch it with my Aaji. Iss show ka title song is what attracted ppl to it. Bohat aacha song hai and it's lyrics are also beautiful. It's sung by Shreya Ghosal. MV is also beautiful. Kabhi waqt mile toh sunn lena.

♧ Eka Lagnachi teesari ghosta. Ye bhi bohat aacha aur light hearted show tha. Iss show ka theme song bhi bohat aacha hai.

♧ Naktichya lagnala saavadhan. You know what iss show mai my school ki English teacher has worked in 2 eps😁😁. She was a celeb to us due to this. Par iss show ki ending mujhe aachi nahi lagi as my fav ship didn't sail🙃

♧ Ratris Khel Chale. Ye show Marathi industry mai bohat famous hai. Mere saare relatives and Marathi friends used to watch it. Iss bhi title song mast hai. But iss show ka season 1 is mine only favorite.

♧ Dil Dosti Duniyadari. This show is abt 5 friends and their journey. Iss ka MV is too good.

You know weirdly I know or have watched most of the shows you mentioned. Of all of them Julun Yeti Reshimgathi is my favourite. I loved that show and can watch it on repeat. It is very realistic and really made me wish I had a family like theirs. Ironically the ML's name is also Aditya. Give it a try, it is really good. Thoda lamba hai, but kaafi achcha hai.

Right now I am watching Aai kuthe kay karte, which is the Marathi version of Anupama. Similar story, but they have made a few differences. I also watch some Colors Marathi shows on an off, Raja Rani chi ga jodi is one of them. The leads in that serial have amazing chemistry.

Flowerji, aap tension kyun lete ho, hum hai na. See the best thing with you has always been that despite hating on BS from such a long time, you are till willing to see past the "cheater" and "dhokebaaz" tag that these Adilie bashers give Adi. They refuse to see beyond that tag for him and constantly bash for the sake of it. As for Adi, he will slowly grow on you, which is visible in the thoda bahut lacklustre support you do for him sometimes when everybody misundersttod his "gehri dosti"😆. Thoda thoda karke, he will start to grow on you, humein bharosa hai.

So don't worry, you will never be measured in the company of those people, coz your points are logical from your point of view. Aur jab bhi you go off track, main hoon na to remind you of what each character has done. I am good at that, ask Seera.

Flower ji aap ki tarah mujhe bhi Adi pe bohat gussa aaya tha from past 2 eps but I blamed the writers for this. I'll try explaining rather sharing my thoughts on His and Imlie's love and what I feel.

So I'll start with mine favorite Imlie...

Imlie's love for her Babusaheb as much as I have seen is pure and unconditional. She loves him even before she realized she did. She was concerned for him since the day they met. They had an immediate connect. With time her love only grew for him. She never expected him to ever love her but her nature, the beauty of her heart ,her goodness and her soul made him fall head over heels for her.

Now coming to Aditya...

Adi was a good man but a complete jerk as we all know. Since Imlie entered his life nothing was same as before...uski puri duniya ulat - palat hogayi. Ek self proclaimed pahad jaisa aadmi fell in love with this lil mouse. Somewhere his soul always knew that this is the one but the incidents which happened with them kept him in denial for long. He always insulted her and was very rude. But he did care for her....ye mostly crises ke time zyada visible hota tha.

I'll give some examples:

☆ His concern for her was since the 1st Pagdandiya track where she asks him abt Meera bagh and gets upset thinking abt her father. He sensed that and changed the topic to again make her feel comfortable.

Next she desperately wanted to go home but it was raining heavily. He could see her discomfort so suggested to take her home in the heavy showers despite his leg being wounded.

☆ He gave her ointment when she was stung by honeybees it was only him who noticed her wounds.

☆ When Imlie and Adi were in jail after rescuing the girls from the trafficking gang. He was mad at her for leaving without informing anyone aise apne aap road pe.

☆ During the 2nd Pagdandiya track when he left her back he was feeling restless as if he was leaving his most precious thing behind. His mind was filled with her thoughts. And after this we got the most beautiful track in the whole show. One of my favorite The Gunshot track.

Things were never the same after this one. Adi was never the same man after he saw Imlie dying in his arms before his eyes. He was traumatized. He could never imagine her like this ever. The man who once hated to hear her voice begged her to keep talking to him. To open her eyes and look at him. The moment she fainted his heart skipped a beat. He was dead scared. His feet cold. He sat down on the ground begging her to open her eyes to talk to him 'Jhalli ae Jhalli uth na. Imlie baat karo na hamse baat karo. Tu baat kyun nahi kar rahi. Imliee.' No matter how much he called her she didn't respond. He broke. He held her tight in his arms and hugged her and gave her a kiss on forehead remembering all her talks from last night.

Next was the ambulance scene. Where he wasn't able to breathe properly because she wasn't opening her eyes. They moment she got her breath back he too started to breath with a little relief. Her body was in shock. Adi held her hands and said 'Ham nahi jaante ki ham ye rishta nibha paenge ya nahi lekin zimmedari jaroor nibhaenge aur hamare saath ye zimmedari nibhaogi tum. Tum sunn rahi ho na.' When they reached hospital Imlie in the ambulance ask him to wipe the sindoor and all the signs that prove her to be married as the family can't see it. Suddenly it became very tough for him to do so...she was literally dying but still thinking abt him.

☆ After Adi's tough words to Imlie while coming back from spying on Bunty Bhaiya. He knew something had changed between them. She wasn't behaving normal he could feel it, see it but ignored. And that's when she left for Pagdandiya but before that Adi got kidnapped and was abt to be killed but Imlie reached there just in nick of time and saved his life yet again. He saw her, crying and looking at him with relief that he is alive and safe. He saw her thanking to God. But then just as he blinked she wasn't there. She left. Even in his wounded and partially unconscious state he desperately looked for her and found her going away from him.

Later on after finally catching her in the Pagdandiya wali bus he took her potli and ordered her to come with him but she didn't listen to his please and said 'Baat Khatam, Rishta Khatam ' hearing this something broke inside him. He couldn't just believe what he heard. Her words haunted him so much that he was abt to do an accident. The whole night he couldn't sleep properly as he didn't feel well. Something was missing. He could stop himself from thinking abt Imlie so much that the very next day he left for Pagdandiya. And during this Pagdandiya visit he finally realized and accepted it was Imlie that he loves and no one else. She is his first and only love. He had never fallen in love before this.

We ppl feel a disconnect at times. But that's okay...I'll say it's very normal. I too feel the same at times. We have seen these two ppl go through heaven and hell in this whole journey. When a new shade or an hidden emotion is introduced in a character it takes a little time to accept it. But eventually we do.

This is probably the first time I wrote something for Adi otherwise I have very little to write abt him. I am in love with his complex character. Adi as a person changed for the better for his Jhalli. He became and infact is still trying to be the best version of himself.

Tagging a few more ppl to give their opinion on this

Jojo ji as you like horror stuff like me I'll like to recommend you a insta page called 'The Indian idiot' which shares paranormal experiences of real ppl. His own followers send him their stories and they are really interesting to read. He started doing this last year in lockdown. Abhi tak 25 parts bana chuka hai woh on this series.

OMG August, you write so well👏🤗. I could actually reimagine the scene just reading it. You captured every expression and his innermost feelings in your words and they were beautiful to read. Thank you for this and I agree with Jojo, please share more if your written work as I would love to read it.

Adi's character for me even today is the reason I watch Imlie. While I love Sumbul as an actor and Imlie is a beautiful character, Adi's graph has always fascinated me. His character has really been the boy next door with all his flaws and kamiya. Imlie inherently has been a very selfless character and sometimes gets very tiring to watch, specially when she does not want see beyond hurting someone to take something that is rightfully hers. While we love her for what she does and the extent she gan go to for her loved ones, sometimes it goes overboard and I lose the connect. But then she resumes her natkhat swabhav and my connect comes back.

With Adi, I have been able to connect with him from day one. Reason being that he reminds me of someone very close to me who has a very similar swabhav. Adi has always been very rightous, walking on a straight path and prided himself to always fight for the truth. Aise insaan ko jhoot kitna bhaari padhta hai is something only they understand. I had loved his dialogue to Jainendra when he wanted to reveal the truth to the family and he said "Ek sacche insaan pe jhoot ka bhoj kitna bhaari ho sakta hai, yeh hum tumhe nahi samjha sakte". Adi has been suffocating under this jhoot from the time he was married to Imlie. His journey from hating her, to worrying about her, to caring for her and finally realising that he was in love with her took almost 100 episodes because he was constantly fighting with himself with the feelings she was building inside him. Before Adi went to PD the first time, he was a very sorted man in his head. He lived in a big joint family, yet kept to himself mist if the time. Had a girlfriend since 7 years who he planned to marry coz umar ho gayi and she was a comfortable choice as jhagda nahi hota tha and upar upar se their choices matched on material things. She was his choice, kyunki she was willing to bend to his rules and willing to go along with him being the way he was and nit trying to change him or make him so things he did not like. So she was a safe bet and he was okay with going ahead as he did not know otherwise.

The day he met Imlie, he was trasfixed. She explained to him that gaon ke hai, par gawar nahi and told him that the entire village respects and feels for each other, be it animals or humans. This side of things was new to Aditya. Jo banda apne se aagae kisi ko nahi dekhta tha unless pointed to, started seeing beyond things because Imlie was showing it to him. Be it enjoying the ride on her cycle or even rain. He started to like her as a person and was really interested in knowing more about her and seeing the village and their traditions through her unique nazariya. Then the forced marriage happened. The tenous relationship got more entangled because suddenly Adi's self respect and ego was blown to smithereens, when Imlie had to agree to marry him to save his life. His anger was more towards the fact that he could not do anything to save himself and she had to do it for him. He almost felt emasculated and that really is the worst punishment for a man. The fact that he had to get her back to the city was a constant reminder of his humiliation, so he tried evey way to get rid of her. But even then, everytime she was threatened, he could never hold himself back, as she was his responsibility. Be it at the NGO, when his family thought she was the thief, when the ring got stuck and he bought lotion to help her remove it, cream for the bee stings, standing up for her when AC accused her of getting sick on purpose at the Mehendi, saving her from the goons during his engagement and saving her leaving his wedding mandap. Matlab for me the last one was when he actually started to feel that connect, coz he could have sent anyone else, but khuda dap chodkar bhaga use bachane, not caring if anyone else was following.

Uske baad ka safar was him slowly getting entangled with her life from the second PD trip, to the gunshot and then till the third PD trip, which you explained in your post. There also, be it saving her, teaching her, or learning songs from her, Adi slowly started becoming more comfortable around her being in his life. That was why when AC pointed out just how comfortable he became, he got the biggest jolt. That was why as per pattern he went to give her unsolicited advise jo uspe ulta pad gaya. She left him after saving his life and he could not function. That was what correlated to yesterday's episode as well. Adi cannot function without Imlie. While we can call it obsession, his need to hold on to her or whatever, but that guy will take on the world for his Jhalli. Also he refuses to see beyond telling the truth, because he is still the same guy who is under the delusions that sach bahar aane ke baad sab theek ho jayega. I understand his delusions, because he has lived like that for a long time. Being a loner among many people skews your views to just see what you want rather than how your actions actually affect other people. That is why, him telling the truth for him is his myopic view of only seeing upto having Imlie officially in his life and he also depends on her relationship with his family to help tide everyone over to their side. He refuses to see how his decision is affecting Malini or even Imlie, because he is selfish. But he has always been that way and sometimes that is needed for people to accept the situation and move on.

Bahut bada aur lamba ho gaya. Hope bhatak nahi gayi and you get what I am saying.

I agree what you said abt Adi. He is still in delusional but aakhir kab tak rahega kyunki now we are very close to the marriage revelation. Adi needs to stop thinking abt every thing in one direction. Kyunki woh jaise sochta hai duniya waise nahi chalti. Reality mai aur dream world/imagination mai farak hota hai. Reality mai Butterfly effect is what works ek cheez ke hone se baki saari surrounding cheezon par asar paadhta hai. Similarly his one decision/revelation will change everything for the ppl around him. Imaginary world mai the world only revolves around you and right now Adi is here in this dream world. Hopefully jaldi bahar aajaye iss wale world se real world mai nahi toh jab Reality ke jhatke paadh ne start honge toh woh sehe nahi paayega.

Happy 200 epis to you to dear. I also had a lot more to write, lekin ek toh type karte thak gayi and the post also became very long.

Adi will continue to remain in his dream world till he sees exactly how Imlie will be affected by the truth reveal. Uske baad bhi he will think ke sab theek ho jayega till the KC truth comes out and he realises just how much his myopic view and insistence on being blind to Malini's feelings are going to affect him and his relationship with Imlie.
