Yes! Because it doesn't matter who is the main cast or who is the supporting cast. They are trying too hard to make us sympathize with Grey but now even critics are pointing out that the world doesn't revolve around her only.
Plus the beauty of GA is that most of these characters have a different background story and that has impacted their decision or how they interact and help the patients.
Tedy has been an underdog for quite a long time. Writer just pushes him into every love triangle possible and made a serious joke last season when they revealed she is bi-s**ual.
So it was time they dealt with her trauma.
Teddy loved Allison who was already in a relationship with Claire. And all three of them were friends. So she and Allison felt guilty for cheating and they were about to come clean when Allison died on 9/11.
To avenge her death she joined Army and went to Iraq. There she fell in love with Owen and for years blamed herself for loving someone else as half as she loved Allison. When she finally accepted it, Owen married Christina.
To save a patients life and provide him with insurance Teddy married him and just when they were starting over, he died.
Later Owen got divorced, married Amelia and got divorced with her also but Teddy always came last on his priority list. So when they finally started dating after years, on a weak moment Teddy cheated on Owen.
Now everyone blames her and she is all alone and today she has lost a dear friend. So her entire world has turned upside down.
It has the potential to become an amazing story considering Kim Raver is an extremely talented actress.
I have been waiting forever for her to get some importance.
