Sigh, I wish more educated women would learn from the example of PC than being labelled as educated-illeterates in the wake of giving birth to sons and then nurturing idiots around.

How can one choose son unless it's thro' IVF or surrogacy.

If one gives birth naturally, it's 50% chance that the kid will either be a boy or a girl.

Swetha, you are talking about someone whose not only dumb, but also, a hypocrite. What do we expect from such people?? They will continue to live in the wake of bearing boys and pleasing others. All that career and acting prowess will go down the hill.

But honestly, my disconnect is with most women in close-knit economies like India, not just the celebs/public figures. Sure, there people influence normal audience, but we dont expect the likes of Alia, Kiara, Ananya to be smart heads like PC, Hema Malini or for that matter late Sridevi.

I think, not just with content on TV with supernatural shows etc, in day-to-day issues too India is kinda moving backwards. All that talk on democracy and freedom of expression boils down to patriarchy and misogyny.

Why does she say last employment? Dont tell me she is not getting work cos she is a mum now. Everyone has a right to choose when to be a parent and how to manage work. People need to change the way they think imo.
