OMG this is too horrifing, stay calm praying for all of your safety. "God please protect my friends and their families around the world". At the same time releaved that Branka and their family are safe.

As Vibha said today our country is observing complete lock down and will extended our gratitude to those who are helping us in this time by clapping or which ever possible way in the evening at 5'o clock from our doors and balconies. Stay safe and healthy always. Don't worry we all will overcome this phase soon.😊

Just came to tell you that we are all fine...This morning we were waked up by a strong earthquake, Mom was hit in the head with a picture of my father, that was on the wall above her head...Luckily it was small, so beside waking her up, it did not leave any trace, hurt her a bit, but she said she was lucky that her grand-grand father did not drop on her, that would be another story 😲😆...we are trying to joke about it, but really what is this..😡 After the first one there were several smaller eq and two more stronger earthquake...my older aunt , almost 90 was calling us and telling that she heard that it will be another strong EQ, so we went out (just returned home), but, beside coronavirus that is lurking everywhere, it was so cold and started to snow a little, and my Mom could not stand any more...all the benches in our area are under a huge old trees, so that was also not a safest place...My younger Aunt lives on 21st floor, so I can just imagine how she felt...My all family is fine...there was some damage in the centre of the town where there are old houses, and some people were injured, but not seriously...I hope it is done for today...Love you all...we will for sure relocate all the pictures above our heads...

Mothers with babies in front of the maternity ward ... Good thing there are no casualties.

I wonder, the virus is notbenough? Isn't that hard enough?☹️

Such a beautiful story about a photo of your father. I am sure that our loved ones guard us.

I hope that there will be no more earthquakes, that the earth will calm down.

Mom finally went to sleep, so I came to my PC. We all rested a bit after the lunch, but it was hard to sleep when the earth is shaking so often, they said that it was more than 20 smaller earthquakes, which they said it is good, because than the energy and the force is divided in small quakes, and not in one big and strong one...I hope that this night will be peaceful, though we packed our bag with medicaments, money and documents just in case...I think I will not be able to sleep tonight...The rest of the day we were on phone and mobile messages with our family and friends, who wanted to know how we are...we watched TV to be informed and saw all those pictures you referred to...the worst damaged was the old centre of the city, and streets around main square, those are old buildings, and some of our hospitals are also there...it was so sad to see all those women and little babies out on the cold in their pyjamas...later on they were all taking care of, transferred to another hospital, people who could not go back to their flats because their homes were damaged are also safe and warm in this cold night...I truly hope that we finished with earthquake...we still have to fight this virus that turned our lives upside down...I really hope that people will be disciplined and stay at home...

Thank you Padmaja for your prayers and best wishes. 🤗 You are right, it was so scary and the worst is that you feel so helpless, nothing to do...no way to know when it will hit you again, and how strong it will be...We went out, as advised, but than, you can not stay out the whole day, especially Mom on that cold weather...We all were wearing masks...Even Jelena, when she go to walk Bino, does not walk him like before...they just go out for short and than come back home...My Aunt who lives on 21st floor did not go out from her flat, She stayed there with her husband, because they said that during earthquakes you should not use elevators, nor stairs...I mean, what else is there to use? We spoked with all our family members and they are all fine, safe in their homes...Tonight a temperature is around zero (and only few days ago was 20 degree), and they are expecting strong wind...But all this is nothing comparing to that virus which you can not see, and which could do so much damage...From tomorrow there will be no public transport in Zagreb, nor between the cities...All busses, trains, plains are cancelled...Anyway, we are not travelling anywhere...😊
