Anything is fine. But I have a doubt.Hangouts works pretty much like whatsapp, but using email ID. I think anyone who has your email ID gets to message you right? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not a very frequent user but I remember uninstalling it as it seemed not so nice. Anyone who had my ID could see that I'm on Hangouts and could message me.

Priyama just asking, why is that you don't want FB? Just clarifying don't get me wrong :) If it's a personal thing I can understand. I asked just to know if you're worried about privacy. The reason I said FB is we can easily remain anonymous there. We just need to use some false name. We can set the privacy so that no one can send us friend request or message us. It's totally under our control. And it's super easy and organized. I'm in many closed groups that's why I said. Long back in college I even had a duplicate account which no one ever knew of, but was actively used in groups.

Are there any private chat blogs/forums? A lot of sites let you chat, but they don't store your chats. So you can't go back and see anything. That's useless.
