To all those who have watched the Gone Girl, how many of you wanted Nick to somehow die in the end? That life...death's better. 😳 By the way, this movie should be classified as a horror, not a thriller.

Bro, you mad? 😆 Obviously, it's a good movie when you talk of how a story is supposed to nail all of its areas. I have heard the book is much better though. Yes, Amy made for a bloody good character. But there's no way in hell I found myself cheering for her at any given point in the movie. Nick was a lying, cheating scumbag, agreed. But Amy? She was exactly what the Nick's lawyer had described her to be. And, of course, a complete murderous psychopath. I wanted her to have her deserved ending so bad, let her be exposed of all that she's done to say the least but alas! That way the ending, realistic, may be given how its true that there are people in the world who do and get away with SO MUCH but truth be told, its also quite a deeply unsettling and disturbing one. There's so much more I want to say but I know the moment I start, I'd be showering expletives on Amy. 😆

OH NO WAY IN HELL! 😳 I think we are on opposite sides when it comes to GG. It's a surprise even for me that I'd pick a side of someone as low life as Nick. Trust me, I don't like him one bit but given the stories of both Nick and Amy, would you blame for picking up Nick's? Because Nick only flaw must have been that he was a freeloader and cheater. AMY? Oh my, where do I start? This is exactly what I say in Maya's case too, no matter your past and no matter who wronged you, you got no right to wrong innocents and especially NOT to this extent. Yeah, Nick was nowhere an innocent but the kind of punishment he was given for his share of crimes, like I said, death's any day better than a lifetime with someone like Amy.

I think I'm particularly not a fan of such unsettling and disturbing ends. Whatever the genre, whatever the story, if the characters don't end up getting justice in the end, it leaves me with a tormented feeling. GG too has gone the same way, for I'll forever be tormented that somewhere in the fictional world, a character named Nick needed to be saved from a 🤬 🤬 🤬but he couldn't be saved.
