It was a bit of an anticlimax, honestly.

The charge was that I had leaked important information and sensitive documents to a rival company. There were also allegations that I was involved personally with the corporate head of that company and so on.

They met us (my lawyer and me) outside the court. Initially, they said that they have fail proof "evidence" in the form of printouts of emails sent from my ID. They claimed that could get me into prison for several years. The proof was that solid.

I do not doubt that they had these emails. After all, they created my official ID and all past emails I might have sent are available on their servers. They could have monitored and even tampered with the emails. I don't really know.

They have filed a claim for monetary compensation and have sought a ban on my career.

Outside the court, they demanded a sum of money to withdraw the case. Very filmy 😆 In truly dramatic fashion, I told them that we are going in and we will compensate them only if they manage to prove all charges.

In the court, they requested another date for the next hearing and that was that.

No wonder the law is a joke!
