@Appy: There are plenty of references to 90s Hindi films and the songs. Not sure which episode you watched. Mayeb the one where the two of them are fighting in the casette shop 😆

Yesterday's episode was amazing Appy. Two teenagers having a soulful conversation was mind blowing. Just divine and blissful. Hats off to the writers. Not one dialogue was OTT. The hero is completely floored seeing the goodness in the girl's heart.

I watched the latest episode on SonyLiv. As much as like this teen drama which kind of gives insight into teens' minds those non stop references to 90s Hindi films episodes is drowning the story for me.

May be because I'm not a film buff Hindi or any other language.

I liked the boat scene but that song from Maine Pyar Kiya just drowned the story and the scene for me.MPK happens to be one of my all time favourite among the few Hindi films which I like.Salman and Bhagyashree were superimposing themselves on these two cute kids.I want to watch the story of these two kids and not some Hindi film scenes through their story.

I wish they would cut down on those references to Hindi films .Then the show would be more relatable to all non Hindi film buffs like me.They could tell the story of the nineties kids and showcase the nineties through other means too.JMO.

Hindi movie reference s is a big thing in the serial. Naina is a filmy kitab😆 I love that they are using the old 80s and 90s songs on them. One thing it is lovely to hear them after such a long time and the song selection the makers are having is wonderful and pretty apt for the situations. It describes the feelings very well. I haven't heard many songs actually esp the early and mid 80s.

Did you watch Monday's episode ? Watch that one. It is beautiful.
