An Indian adaptation of the acclaimed Gideon Raff's Hatufim', P.O.W. is a finite series airing for a period of 5 months of an absorbing fictional narration to be launched this season on STAR Plus.
A large scale high octane family drama with a thriller backdrop, the story takes us through the journey of the lives of the two couples Harleen-Sartaj, Nazneen-Imaan and the aftermath of the return of the war heroes after 17 years. Two Indian POWs are rescued from the Indo-Pak border, after they had escaped a Pakistani prison. Sartaj and Imaan, who were declared Missing in Action (MIA) after the Kargil war ended in 1999, return home after a 17 years in captivity. They work to overcome the trauma of torture and captivity while settling back into their interrupted family lives.
A cast ensemble of discerning actors like Purab Kohli, Sandhya Mridul, Amrita Puri, Satyadeep Misra and Manish Chaudhari have teamed up for the project with Nikkhil Advani.
