And I couldn't agree more with a lot of what you said regarding the PR. I'll cite the example of Aamir here. If I'm not wrong , didn't he go to AKA just a few months after he made those comments? His movie is coming out in Dec so there's no way he went there for movie promotion. Now I haven't seen that episode but I remember my first reaction was that he's going there to "clarify". I personally don't care for that approach as most can see right through it. Now some might be like that it was a good move on behalf of his PR but I personally didn't care for that. So this is another of those topics where there will always be differing opinions.

I'd also like to throw my two cents out there when it comes to the husband and father bit that you brought up. I have often seen folks here talking about how Shahrukh and Gauri aren't seen together at events , no PDA ..blah...blah. I can guarantee the same folks would be calling it PR or by some other term if Shahrukh and Gauri were seen at every other event together. Then it will probably be referred to as "damage control" so with some you just can't win.

According to Warrior,even Kabali got leaked before release...This is getting scary to say the least...Probably its Rajnikanth so it will not get affected much with the leaking but still this is not done...

Yes,SJ,Aamir went there to clarify,put his point of view and even that time some said Shah Rukh should do the same but didn't forget to make it clear how Aamir is doing all this for a motive,so whats the point!Then there were articles posted how he is not feeling bad when he is not anymore the ambassador of Incredible India or something like that,he loves his country and etc.

And personally I cringed with those things that time and discussed it in this CC and was happy with Shah rukh's approach.He went to AKA during FAN and when Rajat Sharma asked him to clarify,he first thought a little if I am not wrong then Rajat Sharma said 'I want you to clarify it here,'then Shah Rukh said whatever happened.

The thing is he could have done what Aamir did,he could have apologized for the sake of his film,but he didn't.So there is no way his PR will be allowed clarifying his image that way.But one thing I agree is that the whole twitter account thing could have been taken seriously that was way too much of negativity.As his fanbase is huge hence it was not that bad,but this not that bad situation was fatal.
