I'm not coming from a place of doubting them as professionals. Of course they know their jobs better than we do. But when you announce the release date of a movie a year prior to its release , when you out of all the dates out there choose EID then it obviously means you think it's apt for EID. Your decision would be questioned no matter who you are if you change the release date of your movie two months before its release.

And bring on the bull! I said this awhile ago , nobody would say a word about Ritesh or Farhan. The media and fans obviously will write about Shahrukh chickening out and what not. I'm already seeing this bull out there and it doesn't surprise me one bit. And I'm sorry but what is the guarantee that shifting it to another date would somehow bring in more audience? Like I said nothing about this makes any sense to me. I would have understood had they shifted it to next EID , even if it means postponing it for another year but this makes zero sense considering two movies are releasing on the same date!
