Sony par I used to watch Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, that has gone off-air. After the controversy surrounding Pehredaar Piya Ki I dont think I would attempt that production house shows. Its like the same for Gul Khan shows.

What is Dev not heard of it ? Sadly, I can't watch so many shows, at the most 3 - Naamkarann and Rishton Ka Chakravyuh and on and off select episodes of other serials keeping the promos in mind which create curiosity in me.

I was watching TSMSP till I lost interest. Anyother show like Naamkarann or RKC?

If you haven't already, do check out all the promos of Sony's upcoming shows. All of them look excellent. Haasil has character promos out, Porus has a teaser, Prithvi Vallabh's trailer was released today, and Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai started airing yesterday.

About PPK and the production house, I follow their sitcom "TV, Biwi aur Main" religiously. It's freaking funny and the romance cute. Normally, I find Indian sitcoms terrible but this one is legit good. Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai is also by the same production house so lets see.

Dev is a biweekly finite show of 26 episodes currently airing on Colours. It's a crime procedural type show about an eccentric detective, Dev played by Ashish Chaudhary. The show is 10 episodes in. I highly recommend it.

I just watched this IF video of Chandni getting slapped. *sigh* I guess there is no hope from that show.

Swati shared this video with me the other day I was rolling on floor with laughter! Such nonsense! Who is the creative head of this OTT show? Moreover, why is the Indian audience watching this nonsensical illogical show? Why? Are we really so gullible? So naive?

While I feel bad for the characters and people working for the show, a mediocre product deserves such an ending.

What I'm wondering is, how can a well established production house develop such a shoddy product. It just reeks of negligence.

That's really not surprising. It really does suck for everyone involved. This established production house you speak of needs to reinvent itself. It's still churning out the exact same stories it did 7 years ago when it started. IPK3 was never going to be any different.

I think Barun's comeback which was scrapped earlier would have been better for him. That finite show called "Satya ki Kiran."

Glad Star Plus decided to shut IPK3 down. Sony is trying to rebrand itself and is putting out new and unique products such as "Ek Deewana Tha," "Haasil," "Porus," and "Yeh Unn Dinon Ki Baat Hai." All of which look really interesting. Along with creating it's own original limited series content (Netflix style) such as "Prithvi Vallabh" which looks incredible btw.

Colours which usually has lame, regressive content is also gearing up to present a couple of interesting shows, "Adhura Alvida" and "Ishq Mein Marjawan." On top of that it already has the biweekly show "Dev" on air which is different too.

Then we have Star Plus...it has shutdown the afternoon shows but kept "Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piya ji." This leaves them with only 3 shows which are a good watch, are different, and progressive to an extent. Everything else is just ugh.

Ok, I had to log in after hearing the news! What! It didn't even last 6 months, did it? They really needed to work on the plot. You can't expect an actor to see you through the choppy waters of trp. I don't understand why bring a bad name and repute to an already established show, an iconic show? This was such a disaster , I believe worse than IPK2. IPK2 appears so much better before IPK3.

I was so excited about IP3. I really was. Even though I didn't like the new female lead I still decided to give it a try. Sadly from the very first episode it was a disaster waiting to explode.

I want to watch Ek Deewana Tha. That looks intriguing. I was watching Yeh In Dinon Ki Baat Hai, found it quite refreshing. I am sad, disappointed , angry that Gul ruined it for her loyal viewers. She didn't respect the audience the very audience that made her shows so popular. The audience isn't a fool. Such a high-handedness, total disregard for her audience, and not to mention the lousy plot. Total bheja fry! I hope she takes the input and rises up from the ashes and reinvents her shows and shows respect to her 'intelligent' audience.

P.S. Ishqbaaz is starting on Star Utsav. Is it worth a watch?

Onu you said it all. Gul is reaping what she sowed.And she sowed only disrespect,disregard and disgrace to the loyal fans of original ipk. Not only the fans but also her lead actress.I am not saying it because i like Sanaya but because she really did cross the line and became down right disrespectful towards her and wasn't even ready to pay any regard to her even as the ex female lead of her show when ever she talked about season 1.All her sapno k mehal broke down when her barun bubble burst where she thought only ASR and rabba ve will do the game again.She didn't bother paying any attention to story line,script,screenplay ,direction or anything.Extremely loud sets and eyesore dresses. She is now nothing but a stubborn egoistic head with zero creativity and even star is indirectly hinting towards her repetitive copy paste imagination through their replies to the emails fans have been sending.
