Public humiliation is just for drama. Else he is perfectly correct in doubting her. But not money and success which he already had in the past as well - he was rich and he was intelligent. What has changed is his looks and the cool factor. He should have doubted that 😆

His laughter - the less said the better...😡

I think Shravan is more justified in his anger than ASR or Rudra. And in real life there are lots of people who carry grudges for years and waste the life together.

PS: Just watched one episode of Dehleez. Very well taken. But not going to watch it - no time plus this one will not be a fun show. There will too much drama, politics, emotional blackmail and so on and so forth. For the time being the light hearted EDKV seems to be better.

Ha ha ...imagine saying that what has changed is you have become a handsome dude...and not the geek you were in high school...😆 How shallow would that sound ...even if it was true...😛
Indra ...I know what you are saying...but if Shravan would have made his point in private...it would have been too easy for Suman to just pacify him in private...like she always did ...without facing the public shunning he faced...from a friend ...he counted on...in his moment of need...

Red: ditto on Dehleez. Caught an episode. It had a very Doordarshan feel to it. Will skip it though. Being on SP, it's just a matter of time until the saas bahu drama kicks in.

Talking on east west difference, I feel a movie like Baazigar makes it more evident. The original Hollywood movie has the guy well defined as a evil guy and a murderer. The Indian version justified his actions and also threw in a love story with his victim's sis for good measure. Disturbing that the movie was a success.

On EDKV:
Some really interesting views similar to what all of U guys are discussing on the forum too.

Me- I was shocked with the magnitude of his planning and execution...as would have been Suman.😲

Poor thing. I guess she needed this Zor ka Jhatka to understand what he went through...that way, full marks on his planning. He hit the nail bang on.

But such venom! How would Suman cope up with the fact that her best friend has turned into this vindictive guy- cold and calculating and ruthless.

Agree that Shravan's reasons are more relatable to than most of the other heroes'.

Hello all
Hope all had a nice weekend. I had one lazy outing. Went to the hot springs. Nothing is relaxing than going in pool amidst the snow clad mountains and freezing temp.😃

EDKV- I don't like this Shravan and his so called tit for tat behaviour. I posted my response in one of the post on forum.
My response to the episode copying from there

Very nice post.
I would say it was more tit for tat then eye for an eye.

Shravan all his young life had issues. He was the guy who did not have friends, was not cool, was not friendly and most important was the guy who was nerd. The nerd whose life was boring as he was seen with books.

Even today he is not that friendly a person. He is trying to be what Suman wanted him to be. Else why would have he forgotten his date with Ms Delhi. For sure with age he has known to manipulate the situation yet at the back of the mind he is still the adolescent who was betrayed by Suman at the prom night. He is trying to be prince charming because that was the reason why he was betrayed by Suman.

Suman is his first love or may be the only love and has not forgotten her. He remembers each and every details even after 10 years. So he is just trying to show her how hurt he was or how much it hurts when people are two faced.

The only difference here to me that when Suman insulted him she told him that she will not go with him in prom. She was upfront and she never manipulated him even though she was young she was mature enough to not hurt him. Although it was the act on verge of snob behaviour it can be counted as the mistake that many teenagers make.

Whereas Shravan on other hand who is matured, successful lawyer repeating the scene is the act of manipulation. He manipulated her to the extent of no return. Behind that successful man is still that young man who had issues with self esteem and is still a nerd.

G- I am loving this show Daheleez for now. Can't name it what i am liking. I am just liking it
Is it a 5 day show or 7 days like all other star plus shows?

This author Jojo Moyes has gotten under my skin. I completed yet another of her story- One plus One. She is so natural and writes about the real people.Unlike some of the stories where one lead is so good or have done nothing wrong and other is all twisted with past and what not. She is witty and the humor is in the day to day life that she is portraying. One can laugh and cry with her writing.

Sush - will definitely go for the second movie from Divergent. I liked the first one so am sure this one will be good too. I have all the three books in basement and am not sure if i should read the book first or just enjoy the movie.

It's a seven day show Bhavi. Glad to have at least one other person watching with me. Though I am glad everyone else at least checked it out .

About Shravan this is what I said on the forum.. An eye for an eye would leave the entire world blind.. Is taking revenge going to change what happen to him? Suman was at least naive and some what motivated by peer pressure.. What Shravan did was premeditated? He seemed to be even more bothered by the childhood incident after taking revenge because it brought back memories.. That being said he is more relate able than a lot of other dark brooding heroes.. The forum seems to be really sympathetic towards him

P.S. I liked Sanders foreign policy speech in Utah.

I like what JJKL said; it's probably closer to the truth than we think - LOL

I find it hard to like Shravan right now Sush to be honest. Whatever his reasons or however he justifies his actions at the end of the day he took the cheap way out, the cowards way in my opinion. I could just be super sensitive to stuff like this so perhaps it's just me.

Bhavi - hot springs!!! Nice - spring has officially come on the calendar but it still feels like winter out; storm after storm with rain - yippeee - where's the sun??

On another note I'm happy to report my brother is moving back to California for work so I can visit!!!
No offense ladies but I'm a west coast gal through and through and didn't really like the east. Maybe too crowded for me?

Just watched today's episode...i thought Suman would admit what she did several years back was not right...yes immature ...but not right...

Instead ...she argued ...I am better than you...my pain is worse than yours...

Hmmm...as much as I expect maturity from Shravan now...I expect the same from Suman too...

There is lack of sensitivity to other persons feelings on both sides...

I am not sure if the writers thought about it...but so far...they are keeping both characters flawed ...each making their own mistakes...

It is interesting...although ...very far from anyone who is ready to love...or even take the first step of being sensitive to the other person...a long way to go...But good this way...I think we all are tired of "mahan" people on one side...

My first response after the epi, TBH:
1. Why couldn't Shravan move on from this monster girl?😆 He really couldn't find someone better in the long ten years???
2. How did Sumo expect him to forgive her after that?😕

But after pondering on it for a while, I am really bugged with Shravan.

Not for the showdown, but for the whiny character he was years back.

I might sound a little or very insensitive...and I do feel that Sumo def should have been kinder to him in public...but had he come to her in her house, I have a feeling she would have yelled at him even then. His mom had been making trouble for a long while now, and it looks like he had been eating Sumo's head for some time now. Had she been a nice lady and his dad had kicked her out, I would expect Sumo to be all ears...but it sounded like everyone else knew this was inevitable and Shravan was still not prepared for this. He would just keep whining.
In a sense that roar from Suman seems to have done Shravan a world of good finally.😆 He really needed London just then.

But Insensitive she was, and foolish and idiotic- Oh Yes!

That boy playing Shravan was too good.👏
