What about doing something like this:

each week the member in charge of OS awards, will come up with 3/4 OS and say that for this week she is planning to award one of this story and the other team members can too share their views on those stories. Of course the only person who can select the stories should be the one who signed for that section.

In this way we can call the award something like OS of the Week NL team Choice.

And then every two, better once in a month, when we will do the contests for the OS, we can add along with the OS of the Week NL team Choice also the category for the Most popular OS of the week. The one who will be the most voted in the contest.

If we don't have time for the Contests we can ask to the writers of the forum, to send the links of the OSs that they have written/posted during that week to the member in charge of that section and she will select 3 out of them and then go throw a voting around, of course the people who will vote will be only the NL team members or maybe we can form a jury selecting random active readers from the forum and to avoid biasness they will get to read the OS without knowing the tittles and authors' names.

Even in this way we can have two categories OS of the week selected by the one who has signed for that section and one OS selected by the "readers"

dear why competition? If ur going for voting by jury, I think u should select a os and ask us to vote.
And as suggested by someone(sorry I forgot who it is) I think if all agree we will have competition of writers and voting done by readers.
So totally three different os competition...
1) the volunteer will select best os of the week
2) jury selected
3) readers Votes.

I have few suggestions/queries

• once when we put up the competition whom shud readers PM their entries😛 or shud we come up with an IF ID like NL Contests for these PMs all of us will have Password for it shared via PM whoever make so we can read nd share our views in the scrapbook(locked ie only 4 buddies who will b nly NL team members)
• Next weeks competition must b posted the previous week so participants get atleast 2 weeks time
• NL team members shud nt participate in jury awards😭 bt they can do in voter choice awards😊
