@Geetha, I posted ur 'Pandu' Chapter on the first page of the previous CC. But once we have the previous chapters completed, please post it on this thread too, so that there is a continuity in the story.

Anyways, the time line thing is up to Brishti
If she says 12, then we will go with that. Perhaps we can assume the older 4 UPs were born by then

Is it very necessary to change details which do not need to be changed? Arjuna exile is mentioned as 12 years. And if I am not wrong 12 years is not as long as it would be now. Dwapar Yuga its not much time.
Anyways I would like to not change the facts.

Its your character, you don't need to change anything.😊

Since we are discussing the story as a whole, its good to hear the facts from other versions too, that's all. It gives us new ideas, no?

Symbolism in KK Dan of Karna
I was discussing KK Dan with my dad. My great grandmom had explained him the symbolism behind KK Dan to him.

My dad had asked her that when we do charity, it always gives a positive result. It gives us some benefit. But when Karna does KK he does not get any benefit out of it. Not only is KK gone but the very reason he had taken the vow to do Dan was to kill Arjun and the Indra shakti though capable of doing it also goes waste why?

So she had explained it like this..

Karna was the one who had instigated the disrobing of Draupadi. She was bleeding when she was dragged in and the garment that was protecting her honor was being pulled from her,

That dushkarma reflected in his KK Dan. Since he was doing a Dan which is a pious act, he got glory for the act, but he felt the same pain that drau did and bled like her. the KK would have helped him win over Arjun and given him honor, so by taking it away from him he was deprived of that honor.

Indra just became the instrument of delivering karmic justice.

Kavach and kundal were not big deal for Krishna, it was penetrate by brahmashira, pashupata, vaishanavastra. Arjuna had all of these. But it was taken away from him for his dushkarma

Lord knows I am not a Karna fan😆

But I do believe his words to P in the DS were an interpolation. Because G does not mention it in his tirade during Karna's death.

Why didn't he? He seemed to be very angsty about Karna taunting P. So why wouldn't he mention the infamous Bandhaki word and the instigation of the assault?

Actually, that brings up the Q, why didn't Karna bring up the infamous offer? Sort of like, Oh yeah, what you did ain't so white!

It's worse than I had thought😲 Kinda crude

The five Pandavas will grasp your feet as brothers, together with the five sons of Droupadi and Subhadra's unvanquished son.3 The kings and princes who have gathered together in the cause of the Pandavas and all the Andhakas and Vrishnis will grasp your feet. The kings, the wives of kings and the daughters of kings will bring gold, silver and earthen vessels, herbs, all kinds of seeds, all kinds of gems and creepers for your anointment.4 At the sixth point in time, Droupadi will have intercourse with you. Let the brahmanas who are acquainted with the four Vedas consecrate you today, assisted by the priest of the Pandavas,6 the five Pandava brothers who are bulls among men, Droupadi's five sons, the Panchalas and the Chedis. You will be seated on the skin of a tiger.
