Somewhere, Cabir is giving you a standing ovation right now👏👏😆

It' should be okay right? We are just appreciating good looks. Nothing wrong.

Whattodo? There are a lot more hot women in the world than there are hot men. The numbers are just unfair to us straight women. Sad fact.

It's completely okay. Think of yourself as an artist looking at her muse except, well, you're not producing any art. 😆

@Anu: Harmless crushing never hurt anyone. 😳😆

Yeah well, I've ranted to Genie about this loads of times too, so it's bound to show up in the AT somehow. 😆

Objectively speaking, I just think that KY2 is better on paper than it is on-screen. That is a problem which has been created both by the extremely subjective nature of the writing, and the execution problems. It all ends up as lack of cohesiveness, and confuses the audience. So on a theoretical level I understand why Nandini is a mess of emotions, but when try to connect it to what we've been SHOWN, doesn't quite work because they didn't give it to us.

LOL so you're saying that essentially Genie is speaking out your theories when she says all this?

KY2 essentially is still better than a lot of shows that lose the plot while making a khichdi of managing multiple storylines...but yeah off late, the disconnect has widened cuz they've squandered the momentum of the angst in some ways...so I'm left dissatisfied even if I smile at some of the cute bits. ...fangirling abhi door hai😆

I never really crushed on any of my Profs...most of them were middle aged...lol...Engineering school doesn't exactly house the most attractive ppl...sad life.

I admired some teachers in school though...but again no one was really HOT hot :S

If this had come after something like say NYE confession, it made sense...there was a high of a confession followed by the mellowness of coupley moments...but right now it's like we jumped straight from Manik's roundabout "I hate you but I hope for you" gol mol talks into MaNan romancing like they nothing ever changed...it's a bit of a jhol.

but i thought they had given us those transitions gradually..terrace date...ice cream scene...break down scene...is it not. ??? its just that there were many unwanted side tracks due to which it got lost..

Anu, I RANT, and the ever-optimistic soul conveniently turns it into a THEORY. We're dysfunctional like that. 😆

I've just accepted that if I'm going to enjoy the show, I'll have to turn off some switches inside my head. Sab kuch nahi milega, but for what it's worth, yeah, KY2 is loads better than most of the tripe they serve on tv.

No you're not getting it...those aren't transitions if there aren't follow up CONVERSATIONS...Ice cream scene was probably the best out of the examples you've listed and they had a bit of a momentum going until Manik's lame hate v/s hope challenge started and then after that the tracks thrown in were more to change the tone to light hearted than any real transition...like Holi SUDDENLY came in and Manik in the flow of fun and masti lightened up...then the Pandit issue started and to some extent they managed the back and forth b/w Manik mellowing and conflicted...then the stargazing scene was another nice interlude but didn't have a follow up...breakdown again didn't have a proper follow up...it became all about Dhruv.

If I had to pinpoint recently, the fact that they showed one random scene after the Mukti campaign of Manik wondering IF he has forgiven Nandu and after that showing NOTHING of his conflicted (?) state of mind...MAJOR lost opportunity.

OMG! So much word. How unfair is it for straight women like us? I hope I'll find a hot guy for myself one day. Not just hot, he has to be nice and understanding and well educated with a Proper job. Is that too much to ask for?
