I know what you mean...dunno how but they manage to make MaNan's love for each other look so natural and believable...the desperation and depth with which Manik loves her...like the phrase MADLY IN LOVE actually MEANS something in MaNan's case...it's not just a light phrase to toss around...you tangibly FEEL their NEED for each other...especially Manik's yearning for her...the build up and establishment of that has been so good.

WORD...while Manik's feels were front and center today and we're all gushing over those, I LOVED the calmness and maturity with which Nandu handled him...no one can handle him like she does...she's always had an intuition when it comes to him what he needs...and in this bit he needed a simple unsaid "break" moment which the ice-cream provided...she used it to defuse the situation...ate it cuz he brought it for her...and ended up soothing both their pain (the literal one from the vinegar burn as well as the figurative one in a sense)...it's her wisdom and maturity that inevitably had him listening to her in the end.


I just can't get over the simplicity of the scene...you know kindness and compassion is the best way to disarm someone...and Nandu does it so beautifully when it comes to Manik...he inevitably WILL respond to this beautiful quality in Nandu...her compassion always encompasses him and disarms him...he always gives in and just ends up falling a little more in love with her...which is what his eyes said today no matter how grouchy he tried to be otherwise.
