I definitely recommend Mad Men then, especially if you're into John Slattery. Yeh its very easy to become addicted, the shows with real impact will tend to do that. My brother suggested Breaking Bad but I am quite content with GoT, Hannibal, and albeit expired Mad Men.

So you're into Marvel? Films? I love Guardians of the Galaxy, its such a unique take on the superhero film canon, perversing the typical roles from a more humorous outlook that doesn't take itself all too seriously.

Damn!! Breaking Bad is awesome... Specially the ending seasons... And I am a loyal Marvel fan who's not restricted to Cinematic universe. Have been avid marvel comic reader from childhood and there animatic universe is also distinct. So all in all I love there stuff. And GOG was one of the unexpectedly brilliant film. Waiting for there expansion. I love when they coordinate their universe immaculately.
So any favorite actors???

Its going to be awesome to see Guardians converging with the Avengers!
Which comics/novels have you enjoyed most?
Fave actor wise, RIchard Armitage is an exceptional actor, underrated, very elaborate and just effortlessly gorgeous.
Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy, go figure.
Some actors from GoT that stand out for me are, Michael Mclehatton, Nikolaj, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harrington and Iwan Rheon.
I fancy myself a bit of Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy from time to time, and like Chris Pratt too.

GoG with Avengers... together they would be a treat for everyone... I would give every single penny to watch Peter and Tony banter... 😆

And fav comics... Have read Iron Man and Avengers since my childhood and still following it. So it would be Demon in the Bottle of Iron Man and one the best series of Marvel ever, Civil War.

I am enjoying Pratt so far. And I distinctly remember Cillian from Red Eye's **guy with a pen sticking up his throat** 😆 and in Girl with a pearl earrings. Tom Hardy is amongst the best Brits, that Hollywood is having. And nothing said would be enough for these two guys...but I still haven't watched enough of Hugh, as of Mads, have watched many of his Danish and other lang. movies. Damn!!! He's v. good.

My fav list is bit too long... Evergreen actors: Clark Gable (after watching It happened One Night and Gone With the Wind) , Jimmy Stewart(after watching Rear Window, and Man who knew too much), Gregory Peck (Roman Holidays and To kill a Mockingbird), Jack Nicholson(The Shining) , Sean Connery(He's my fav James Bond), Jeremy Brett(my fav Sherlock Holmes). Amongst actresses, I love Audrey Hepburn, Annette Bending, Julie Andrews, Grace Kelly, Katherine Hepburn.

New age actors: Robert Downey Jr (damn!! crush since I was forced to watch 1968 and Chaplin), Colin Firth (nursing a crush since Bridget jones) , Mark Strong (renewed crush after watching Kingsman and Man Closer to the Moon), Mads Mikkelsen (recently watched Prag), Michael Emerson(love him as Linus), Jim Caviezel (Escape Plan: initially watched for Arnie but eventually his crush), Mark Ruffalo, Arnold Schwarzenegger(he's old for this category, I know that but he's my oldest crush, Terminator, Commando, Predator... Every child's fav superhuman). Don't like much of today's actresses as they are mostly forgettable. Few exceptions, for me are Jodie Foster, Helena Bonham Carter, Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson.

In Bollywood currently, I am having Dharmendra's (Gods! He's excellent with comedies) and Irfan Khan's (watching him since good ol' Chandrakanta days) fever. And my all time favorite Shammi Kapoor. All of the golden era actresses esp Meena Kumari and Waheeda Rehman. I also like Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui, he's impressive.

God!!! This looks like an essay. I am seriously becoming a movie buff. 😆. I am also Old Hindi music esp a Rafi sa'ab fan and Rock music enthusiast.

Me too lol! Starlord and Stark, what a combo!
Oh wow, what a range! We're compatible on many things! I love both the old world and new. As a Beatles fan I naturally lean towards things from the past. Also into rock music too if Muse, and Imagine Dragons counts in that domain.
I love that you appreciate the classics too! Ive seen a lot of Raj Kapoor, my favourite being AAG; existential themes run through his films and that's certainly something Im drawn to in films,, in that similar vein I like Guru Dutt too, also Shammi Kapoor, early Dev Anand films, and actress wise, Sadhna, Nargis, Geeta Bali
In terms of the evergreen west, I love Hitchcock films, Rear window was a novel idea in terms of the cinematography. Many dainty vintage faces from that era, from Grace Kelly, Rita Hayworth, Audrey Hepburn as well as the perfectly handsome gentlemen, Clark Gable being a biggie in that followed by Sean Connery.
Have you read Watchmen? I defo recommend that one, as you're a comic book fan, it has an undercurrent of all kinds f philosophical issues
The Shining is one of my favourites, Stanley Kubrick films in general, you can recognise Kubrick's influence within Bryan Fuller's vision. I wonder if you've seen David Lynch films, whose films hinge on the surreal.
Have you seen the new Terminator movie that's out?

Who doesn't adore The Beatles... And I too am a fan of classic rock n roll... The who, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, AC/DC etc. Then we have my all time favorite Metallica, Guns n Roses, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Nickelback. I am also Muse (Time is running out my fav) and Imagine Dragons (Top of the world and Demons) fan.
Raj Kapoor is some times exceptional... My personal fav Jagte Raho and Mera Naam Joker.
Guru Dutt was the finest filmmakers we ever had... He's said to be Indian Orson Welles. Love almost his every film... Pyaasa, Kagaz Ke Phool, Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam, Chaudhavi Ka Chand.
And what can be said about Hitchcock... Me and my dad are his big fan... My first film of his was Dial M for Murder and since then I am hanging on to him... Recently watched his The Rope... A very fine film.
And I have watched Watchman film... Its very distinct and I liked it. Since I am a pol. sc. student, that era gets to me.
Stanley Kubrick and Frank Capra are classics... In fact if you will follow epi 5 of Hannibal, a solid reference of Clockwork Orange is given. Also I was blown away by Lynch's Eraserhead and The Elephant Man (I am still considering what kind of man was he). If you'll get through his films while maintaining your sanity, then you are a winner. Seriously, they aren't everyone's cup of tea 😆
And nopes haven't watched any film after Jurassic World.. And I was kinda put off by last installment of Terminator. I dint even dared to try this new one. Is it worthy or waste???

I haven't seen ep 5 yet, that should be intresting.
Rope was genuinely interesting, one of the rarest earliest films where homosexuality is implicit in the characterisations, and the fact that it takes place in one evening, within one room, using a non-stop camera increases it almost to a theatrical like staging.
I love almost all of Imagine Dragons songs but Radioactive, Warriors, Demons, Battle Cry, Gold, Its Time, Monsters are my faves. Ive been a Beatles fan since I was first introduced to their music in a Year 9 lesson. My brother is into Nirvana/Foo Fighters.
Im clueless about political science, in your view how does this relate to the ideas in Watchmen?
I haven't watched the new Terminator, the films after the 2nd one were humongously disappointing, I highly doubt that the new one will have the amount of intensity that was sustained in the 2nd movie.

I've read its reviews... Disappointing as we expected. Judgment Day was the best and after noticing its poor sequels, it'll always be.
And have you watched the new clip of comic con??? I was dying for Incarcerated!Hannibal and they fulfilled my wish by showing few scenes. So damn happy, I am.

hey all. may i join in??😊

Hey Dany! First of all a big thank you for recommending Hannibal🤗

Just caught up with all the episodes of Hannibal. The show is unbelievably good. While it takes some time to get used to all that blood & cannibalism stuff, the actors, the direction, dialogues, the presentation, strong script & even the food po*n wins you over eventually. I found S1 a little boring. S2 was just too good...especially the last episode & the slow transformation of Will. S2E13 will be etched in my memory forever for the epic fight between Hannibal & Jack. S3 started off pretty good. I am not going to forget Mads on the bike racing through the streets of Paris anytime soon😳 A glimpse into his past was just what we needed at that time & all this in the beautiful Florence

Mads & Lawrence Fishburne are phenomenal in their roles. I really hope the show is picked up by some other network & soon. It would be sad to see such a nice thing end so soon. Waiting for the next episode now...
