After wrapping up the shoot of Sonys ill-fated show Humsafars (show will end on 27th) Harshad Chopra is a relaxed guy, we bumped into him at a birthday party of a friend. "I will now chill a while before again taking up fresh work. I always like to work on myself between assignments."

So what went wrong with this Four Lions production? "Apart from the fact that it was on Sony which off late has not been fetching good rating, the story line also went awry. We had a good start but then some of the tracks just did not work.I will be honest here and say that I only enjoyed three or four episodes which was quite less compared to the number of episodes it ran. Had the creative's worked on the plot and script and made it more tighter may be the end could have been different?. I still maintain as before that I came on board for I liked the character (Sahir Azim Chaudhary). But then I guess sadly things always don't remain what you are promised due to rating's pressure. Possibly things went south as the initial numbers never really came and once that happens, you have a steep mountain to climb."

He also seems to take the bizarre ending time slot of Humsafars in his stride, "I wonder who will watch the last one week at 2.30 am on SD and 7.30 pm on HD feed? I guess they just want to telecast whatever has been shot and get it done with." In closing Harshad we asked what was the reason for the title Humsafars?" Apparently they had a copy right issue with the Humsafar and plus the team felt that Humsafars sounded more cooler."
