The National Awards are a mockery. Hum Tum was rubbish and it must be the politics behind the awards that SA Khan was even considered, let aside awarded the honour... 🤢

Btw...did you manage to watch "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai"? The episodes were available on the Star Plus portal "Starplayer" earlier...but I don't know what's wrong with them! They have revamped the site ...they call it "Hotstar" now and it is no longer available outside India. 😡 You can try it from your region...or use a proxy to access this site...the episodes will be under "Comedy" section.

I used to watch Sarabhai, Khichdi etc sometimes on this site...*sigh*

@Sarabhai: Some months ago, I watched all of them... it was all up on youtube. Ab, not anymore... 😕

And, I haven't the slightest clue on how to use proxies etc... but when I complained about this to her, meri maa ne DVDs order kar di hain Sarabhai vs Sarabhai ki... She'll send them over for me by post. 😃

Tab tak, I'll watch news channel debates on youtube to kill time. 😆

I have seen some movies of Kangana...like everyone else, she has had her share of truly terrible films. 😆 I saw her first movie "Gangster" right about the time it came out. She went on to do more such moping/crying/melancholic/doping roles in her next few films.

The good/tolerable ones from her list are: Tanu Weds Manu (decent stuff though found her character too OTT), Fashion (she got the National Award for this...supporting actress...maybe deserved it) and Gangster (only because first movie and got her pretty typecast as the sad/crying heroine)...besides of course "Queen". She has repeated the same kind of roles in Gangster, Life in a Metro etc.

Rest is all hopeless ...not because of her work but for the sheer stupidity and nonsensical plots/movies...and let me clarify...I haven't seen them...could make out the to-be-avoided movies from the trailers. 😆 I did have the misfortune of watching her latest outing - Revolver Rani. Words fail me. 😆😆 Shut it down after just 25 minutes...absolutely horrendous stuff! 😆😆 You will be pulling your hair out in agony and be amazed that this is the same woman from "Queen". 😕

P.S. : "Veep" Season 4 starts tomorrow. 😃 While I am excited, I find this very boring - waiting for an entire week for the next episode to air. 😆 It's lovely when you can go online and catch the entire season at a stretch!
