@Hugh Laurie: I have always been a huge fan of him since "House M.D.". And it was a pleasant surprise to see him in "Veep" last season.👍🏼 😳 This seems to be the only show which is getting better as it "ages". The writing/directing was top notch in Season 4!

Which brings me to The Big Bang Theory. The premiere was just ok..."Meh" if you ask me. There is only so much they can do with the story arcs and in stretching it, they have hopelessly butchered the characters in the name of character progression. Amy was such fun and now she is a victim of Sheldon's quirks. Penny and Leonard are a train wreck. There is much more drama and very few laughs.

@Hugh Laurie: I first saw Hugh Laurie sometime in the 1990s in the TV series "Jeeves and Wooster". I was the most devoted fan of PG Wodehouse in my school days, so I thoroughly enjoyed the show. And, of course, Hugh Laurie.

The character of House M.D. is rather dark... I liked him so much more as Wooster. 😆😆😆

@Big Bang Theory: I am not even surprised. I guess, I still have to catch up with season 7, but I am in no mood to waste any time on it... It was really funny when it started, but it has looped out of control in the last few years,

This is funny - I am a H-U-G-E Wodehouse fan...absolutely ADORE the character of Jeeves - his encyclopaedic knowledge, his quotes from Shakespeare and the funniest thing was his continuous indignation\friction with Bertie Wooster over the latter's sartorial choices😆😆..handkerchiefs & purple socks & dinner jackets and their rift over Bertie playing the banjolele😆. I have his entire collection\ Omnibus lying at my place in Delhi. Aaah...I wish I had a book or two here with me so that I could pick it up right away and start reading it...it's been years since I read them.

@BBT: Right! It is slowly going down the drain. However, Modern Family is still funny. It's season premiere was better.

Sometimes when I am writing an e-mail, or sometimes even on IF when I have written down a long post and something malfunctions, and my e-mail or long post gets lost in e-space, I get r-e-a-l-l-y angry. So, to lose quite a bit of data must've been nothing short of a catastrophe... It is good that you finally caught up... 😎
