GG, it is the official Indian adaptation of "Everybody Loves Raymond". Started airing on Star Plus a few weeks back...I had told Wisu about it when I saw the promos. I was looking forward to it as it featured Bharti Achrekar and the team of directors featured Deven Bhojani (who also acted in and directed "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai"...which both of us love😳). Turns out...no show can match Sarabhai...

I saw an article posted on IF last week where they were listing the contestants on BB9. I didn't recognise anyone besides Sunil/"Gutthi"...🤔...

Anyways, the comments section was more interesting. 😆 The IF users complained about the list but everyone was looking forward to the start of the show as the BB forum is wayyy more entertaining than the actual show.😆😆

September is when a lot of shows come back with new seasons. I caught the premiere episode of The Big Bang Theory yesterday as I was curious to see what happened after the surprising finale last year...did you guys watch the last season?

Haan... I am on episode 8 now, but I like the show so much that I ought to have finished it by now... Kyun nahin karaa? It is because I've barely managed to catch 4 hours of sleep every night this whole week. Kuchh kaam, and kuchh other distress... 😳😳

But the addition of Hugh Laurie - just when you thought that the show can't get any better - I have such a crush on him, and though I am a bit disappointed that he looks so old, but I can only agree that bringing him in was such a stroke of genius. 😆😆😆

@Season premiere: Toh, how was it? Any good? I hardly find The Big Bang Theory entertaining anymore... 😳😳

When I go back to Delhi, I have the same problem. So subah uthtey hee, and din mein if there is an internet disruption, then ek aad bar aur, I call up the MTNL complaint hotline to register my complaint. I complain so much and so regularly when I am at home, that some months ago when my mother called up to make a complaint, the service technician who came fix it, remarked to my mother: "aapke ghar se bahut time baad complaint aayi hai"... 😆😆😆

My mother found it very amusing... but the fact is that when I am in Delhi, I make sure that we have a functioning internet connection, even if it means calling up the inept sarkari MTNL offices.

So, follow my example GG - tum bhi subah-shaam complaint kar diyaa karo. 😳

Oooh...4 hours of sleep doesn't sound good. 😕Seems like an unusually busy time at work for you.

@Hugh Laurie: I have always been a huge fan of him since "House M.D.". And it was a pleasant surprise to see him in "Veep" last season.👍🏼

This seems to be the only show which is getting better as it "ages". The writing/directing was top notch in Season 4!

Which brings me to The Big Bang Theory. The premiere was just ok..."Meh" if you ask me. There is only so much they can do with the story arcs and in stretching it, they have hopelessly butchered the characters in the name of character progression. Amy was such fun and now she is a victim of Sheldon's quirks. Penny and Leonard are a train wreck. There is much more drama and very few laughs.
