I suggest you read Kovoorinte Sampoorna Krithikal. He is one of the most internationally acclaimed psychiatrists from Infa. He beautifully explains the tricks various people play in the names of ghosts, yakshi, madan, marutha, koodothram etc and explains the psychology behind it. He also narrates his own experiences of seeing 'ghosts' and explains what was the psychology behind them. I don't think you'll be afraid of them after you read it at all. But, he not only questions ghosts, he questions all gods, sanyasis, babas and all such supernatural things. I found his reasoning very sensible in cases of black magic, ghosts and fake sanyasis. But I don't completely accept his views on God.

Yeah. I've heard about that. We call such stuffs Koodotram. Some years ago, my family members made one Poojari come our home to perform exorcism and he picked up 3 small copper pots filled up with various things including blood, hairs, crow beak etc. But the fact is everything was alright before that and is still the same, at least to me.😆 If David Copperfield can vanish Statue of Liberty, this could be a more simple trick.
