Aasiya Kazi makes her own 'My Choice' video

After Deepika Padukone's My Choice' video directed by Homi Adajania created lots of buzz and controversies in the media, it's time for television's popular actress Aasiya Kazi to voice her thoughts about the same. Aasiya of Bandini and Balika Vadhu fame recently made her own version of my choice video.

When we contacted the actress, she mentioned, "My video is a different one from Deepika's. Here I have spoken about few very basic rights of human beings, which encourages life, reality and fact. I believe everyone comes from a different background and we have to obey certain rules and norms of our society. But then again as women we have our own rights to make our own choices and the norms of society should be followed by both the genders, those are never exclusive to women."

"Personally I have always preferred to think in a positive way and believe that positive thinking brings a positive change in our life. And we should have our own choice of making a decision and bear its consequences. Thankfully, my family have always supported me and this video is my way of encouraging women to become strong enough to make their own choice and stand strong for their rights", added Aasiya.

Shot by a group of college students Aasiya believes that her video will surely empower the new generation of women.
