@Sahiba: I'm doing great. It is an Indian version of Grey's anatomy. But what I like about the show is they have been a little realistic in showing friendship. They have a female protoganist who had a boyfriend before and mercilessly ditched him in the first few episode. It's quirky and nice at the same time. You guys should give it a try..

OMG. I know who he is. He is very damn good looking. Good that they got at least a South Indian, who can at least do a better job in pronunciation for the off hand phrases and words they throw in there, and certain other aspects.

I think you will like the show Lik. Positives: Good actors and so far (8 episodes) good content too. There is no bitchiness in the show so far. No drama queens or witches they have kept it real and complex. Negatives: They have copied grey's anatomy and even the narrative style from that show. Zero creativity.

Kiran is definitely hot. Flavor of the month/season.

Chitra, there is no constructive discussion in that forum, and forget forum but Bollywood who usetheir face and PR without really dealing with the issues or even doing anything about them. As soon as something is said people are ready to attack without even thinking of anything.

As I said in that one topic, I don't even think Nandita Das remembers how and in what context it was said. It was two years ago, she can't clarify because she probably has no idea. TOI on the other hand, printed it with no context at all, with the quote not even fitting with the story. It was just randomly thrown in there.

And then people talk about how the reverse should be all women are potential wh**es. What the hell? This type of false equivalence. Men are the ones in danger of being attacked by wh**es in society? What is the major problem in society? Women being raped by men or Men being in danger from wh**es?

Really... yes, in certain contexts what she said is true. If you are talking about the horrible situation for women in society in general, walking down certain lanes, certain areas, taking public transportation, or other types of transportation. Women are not going to be wary and cautious of all and any men? It's a sad reality but it's true. Same goes for what RTH also said. If you talk about it from a sociological point of view and talkign about how important it is for the thinking to be changed at the base level, etc.

But no... suddenly it becomes oh, no... poor men the victims. How could she say that about men... And then as I said not even taking into account the power dynamics are different, and asking what if we said all women are potential wh**es.
