@shaks: people have started having this wierd voyeuristic tendency since daily soaps started having the funda of the couch in the bedroom, followed by years of celibacy...in these cases, consummation scenes and honeymoons started becoming a fad..i remember in SGP also, there were a volley of teens who wanted the consummation scene between suhana and ishan, when all us regulars on the forum were embarassed by it..the context of the show was family..the centre of the show was family, and suddenly it turned all gooey and mushy...sheesh...i guess i have grown super-cynical ever since i joined med school..as a teen, i cud have written a thesis on Mills n Boons..i was a last bencher in class with a novel open behind my textbook..lol.. slowly, as i grew up, romance became very cliched and overrated..

in order: lol don't insult the poor pig. I'm sure that creatures hates being confused.

The Fad has become ingrained now.

I don't understand why others are not embarrassed about it. I just think it is unnecessary and awkward in a family setting on channels promoting family stuff. People don't do PDA's like that in real life. Must be awkward for the actors filming it too!

Even I read Mills and Boons but then stopped. Romance gets clichd and overrated which spoils it really. 50 shades of grey being a world wide best seller still shocks me. I am so conservative it makes me laugh 😆 can't help it. Certain stuff should just be acknowledged, dealt with if it is causing problems and then just in a lot of cases left alone.

Growing up and seeing love with grown up eyes is a wake up call to anybody.

We have people who still want to pair Shaurya and Durga or Shaurya and Payal. Want Shaurya forgiven.

Many just blame Sakshi only even for Shaurya raping Payal.

Some had justified RajMa affair saying man would stray if wife was like Sakshi.

Does anybody say that for women that they have right to stray if husband is overbearing?

EHT revealed to me at least how perverted and sexist people are. Sadly most of them were women.

No one felt bad for Lavanya Kashyap in IPKKND. Everyone was cursing her.

Why did Madhubala forgive RK ?

I have and always will feel sorry for girls like Lavanya. She seemed so nice. I also felt bad for Khushi too.

Laila was an interesting character and that she is morally wrong while he is morally right when he has just an equal amount of involvement in it is so wrong.

I don't know much about Thakurian but her second husband did not seem that great. He was a criminal smuggling weapons.

I cannot explain the whole najma thing. A man like that should not be married. How can you trust him if he lied to you first and committed something his religion forbids!

Abusive love is the name that IPKKND should be given I feel sometimes. It is a very grey and very thin line between passionate dark relationships and abusive ones. They can seriously get misconstrued with very bad consquences.

Did not see Madhubala but read something about a rape. I cannot believe they actually showed that and he did not get punished. Forgiven? Somethings you cannot forgive!

Arya I translated the whole post.

Thakurain was morally wrong and yes she was . Thakur was a bad man and she knew it after 15 years. No divorce nothing. Just put some sindoor and stay with anohter man and then claim my first marriage was disastrous is simply not done.

As per law if the spouse is missing for mroe than 7 years or the couple is not together for 6 months the marriage can be dissolved easily in the court.

Poor Payal! No! I'm still wondering what the perfect punishment for the character Shaurya is.

Affairs are usually not justified unless there is an actual reason for it.

No. Everything is justified if the patriarchal dominated people say it is (usually most men and even women) for a man but if it is a woman then no. look at how many words there are for a 'loose' woman compared to a man who sleeps around. A man who does that a lot is experienced and just having fun, a woman is considered immoral. Fidelity should be implicit for anyone entering a relationship man or woman or alien not just tied to the woman and relaxed for the man.

I see. What about religiously in hindusim? How does divorce work? If you have a religious marriage without registering it. Here in England usually you need it registered for the law to recognise it although it does with other religious marriages that have licensed officiates.

I watched glimpses of this show to see how Anjali would change herself for good. And yes Anjali-Astha bonding is beautiful.😆
