Looks like it was shelved - One tweet of Suzanne indicated this. Anyway there was no point in pegging barun to the project if the director didn't have money to finish it.

Yea 15% of the movie was shot, what happened after that no one knows, except mitali. I think Barun is convinced by the reason that delays this movie, from what he talks about this movie i think he still wants to do it, but he being a nice guy and never talks ill about others, we cannot say that too.

But it is not the actors job to talk about such details of the movies, his job is to act, and let others manage the rest, specially when he is not involved with the production team. He as a professional keeps his mouth shut, otherwise people will blame the delay on the makers and an unnecessary hassle will follow.

Okay this is very weird when I think about it. Barun's TV growth and Movie roles seem to be linked somewhere symbolically. Like for Barun in TV world he did Shradha first which didn't register any good opening but he was noticed, he then did a cameo in DMG which was a grey shaded character and the role was supposed to be long but was compromised and Barun had to quit, next he did Baat Hamari as a lead and got good recognition and then the fourth show IPK zoomed him into the TV superstar league.

Now compare it with the movies he did
