what I like abt Pak shows..
1) the language, I dig the urdu dialogues...its very soothing to the ears
2) yes, real set locations, the house of zaroon, jo and now asher is just amazing man😆😆 and at the same time, stark contrast of a woman's house, if she is poor, her house shows that - rafia's home for ex - the kitchen there, the utensils, everything depicts their financial position...same goes for khirad's house...
3) no emphasis on SRs...no flying duppattas...no never ending eyelocks...
4) simple makeup and attires😊
5) leaps are not a big deal in pak shows...it happens very smoothly...
what I dont like abt pak shows
1) yeah, they serve bull and do have dollops of drama - most shows have a jealous husband, bechari wife, divorces, patch ups...I swear none of the shows except ZGH and AZ caught my attention on zindagi - Maat, mere qatil mere dildaar, are total bakwaas storylines, and I had read that Maat was a big success and rage in Pak😲😲
2) I agree, I mean the whole first cousin being a love angle, is not exactly pleasing or convincing for us...😕
ZGH is totally a breath of fresh air even for pak shows...a confident, no nonsense taking girl with her own set of insecurities, and ambitious too and atleast no cousin angle😆...dhoop kinare too exactly works and is liked for the same reason, the girl is bound to her profession...but I think the leads too were related na in dhoop kinare?

So started with humsafar (fawad mahira wala and no extra S😆) last night -
OMG Beintehaa is inspired from humsafar?😲 I read an article where humsafar writer was asked that...and he/ she said, yeah even she heard that BI is inspired from HS...mamu ki bhanji and a mother in law causing differences between the couple - yup...totally HS...
fawad looks nothing short of a dream in the first epi itself...asher is dreamy - black suit and the white kurta OMG☺️☺️☺️ and the man is just asher here, doesnt remind me of zaroon, or jo or vikram?👏 mahira, umm...she is strictly average in first epi.hope she grows on me..I guess I love kashaf a lot...khirad is a bit too bechari for my taste🤔...I liked the third angle more here...sara, she looks good and acts well...somewhat looks like surbhi jyoti from QH na? haha sir abrar from ZGH is asher's father here😆 lolz...ok both the prospects are asher's cousin, ek maternal cousin hai - sara, dusri paternal cousin - khirad😆 I like the wierd mother of asher's performance too...
lolz they already fixed shaadi between asher-khirad - total melodrama...deathbed pe shaadi fix😆 direction is good though...and so is the BG music...and Oh god that title track is just ❤️
