OH MY GOD. YES. My mother does that too. My mom is also the type that has perfectly cubed veggies and fingerprintless vessels and everything has a place- specifically, the one she chooses. If I want something somewhere, it is vetoed. Immediately.

Oye yar. Why are moms such perfectionists? My mom even takes pleasure in picking random bartan and telling me how old this is and how shining it is because she doesn't let maid do the dishes and does them herself.

She'd ask me for suggestions whenever she gets in a mood of changing orientation of a room and end up telling me how my aesthetic sense must be so miserable to make that suggestion. If I don't come with a suggestion she tells me how ridiculous a girl I am to have no interest in doing something for the ghar.

Pakka soul sisters. Mum says eggjactly the same thing. Says I'll be a horrible wife because I'll never get anything done around the house 😆 "you don't even know how to properly wash the bhartan, dhang se kapde dhona, you just sit around reading books all day. What will I do with you?!"

And then I get yelled at for sassing back by saying my husband will do it 😆
