I do recommend Hannibal especially if you are into Mads Mikkelsen if not for the level of depth and artistry that bleeds through it...pun intended.
Tycho Nestoris will have as much as his role permits, considering how some things can become diluted from the book to the tv screen.
As we all know by now, the serial is running off on another tangent to the books so we cant expect for complete subversion, which as we've seen sometimes can be good or insightful and sometimes bad or unnecessary.
On that note what has been your favourite season so far?

My favourite was S1 since it was the closest to the books.

And now I have decided to treat the show as an independent. I am no longer going to compare it to the books for my own peace of mind😆 I am just planning to enjoy my favourite actors onscreen & will wait patiently for the books to know the story.

Who are your favourite actors on the show? I love all the Lannisters especially Charles Dance😳 & Maisie Williams as Arya.

I agree Season 1 was exceptional, no nonsense, plunged us right into the midst of the action, there are several standout episodes but every episode of Season 1 had real impact.
Undeniably the quality of acting on this show is top notch from all the major roles to the minor.
I personally enjoy Jon and Daenerys stories amongst many others and ironically find myself too much invested in them to the point of criticism, but my favourite actors are the Lannisters much like yours! Their dynamic is a joy to watch, Charles Dance has a strong presence, its a shame his character had to depart so early, I absolutely adore Lena, she has an endearing persona that she manages to bring to her role as Cersei..
I feel I must mention Ramsay, Theon and Roose, as well as Stannis and Davos; I find their scenes intense, deeply interesting and profoundly disturbing at once.

The casting of this show is exceptional. Initially I wasnt much happy with Kit as Jon Snow, but I loved him in S4. He has improved a lot👏

Stannis - Davos - Jon are going to have some great scenes this season. I really hope they give Stannis more screen space than the previous seasons. They always tend to ignore him & Asha on the show.

... Liam and Stephen - when they came in to shoot the season - were doing yet another scene around the table at Dragonstone and there was a certain mood of kind of "Okayyy...we're back..." And I said "Look, at the end of the season you're on horses killing people, OK?" because they hadn't read the scripts yet. And they lit up like three year olds. They were like "Oh really?! Let's go! We can finally get out and do what we're supposed to do!" (Alex Graves on "The Children" commentary)

Headey confirms she's expecting; George R.R. Martin promises surprising deaths in season 5

Cersei

Congratulations to Lena Headey! The actress confirmed today she is expecting her second child, due this summer.

Headey has a four-year-old son with her ex-husband. Her pregnancy with son Wylie coincided with the filming of portions of season 1 of Game of Thrones.

What does this mean for the show, which will begin shooting season 6 this summer?

Probably not a lot, as far as viewers go. Headey's condition was disguised during the filming of season 1 with costuming and body doubles with none the wiser. Costumes, doubles and camera shots should do the trick this time as well.

Best of luck to Headey!

And in less joyous news, George R.R. Martin tossed out this ominous warning toShowbiz411 at the Writers Guild Awards last night:

People are going to die who don't die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy. So everybody better be on their toes. David and D.B. (David Benioff and D.B. Weiss co-creators of Game Of Thrones) are even bloodier than I am.

When asked about how many seasons total we can expect, Martin was uncertain, saying, "We will have a 7th, 8th or 9th, no one knows. They only renew one or two seasons at a time. After we do season 6, maybe we'll get a renewal for 7th and 8th. That all depends, Television is a very changeable medium."

I actually felt the same way about Kit when I started watching season 1, he didn't match the image I had of Jon Snow, but that was more of an aesthetic issue in my head, the general opinion is that he came across as too sulky where in retrospect it feels appropriate, it was intrinsic to his character as he went through these gradual changes. His alienation is vey much a part of who he is and that often gets misconstrued as his lack of engagement, whereas its quite the contrary. In fact its what makes him so endearing
I love the Lannister siblings! 😆Got to watch that commentary! The Nikolaj and Michelle Farley one is hilarious if you haven't already seen it yet.
