Impatiently waiting for Winds of Winter- however it will not release anytime soon according to the man himself, GRR Martin has announced that it wont be this year, I reckon another 2 years before its out.

In the meantime there is season 5 of GoT to look forward to along with many fan speculations on how things may turn out in the final instalment of ASoIaF, of which theres some incredible storylines of extraordinary greatness that would truly end the novel on an epical note.. one hopes fans are in synch with the authors thinking though there is trust in the author that whatever the outcome, it would be much and more.

Shruti , what is the snake doing there

@trailer: i had lost interest in S5 when i learnt dey hadnt cast aegon & arianne. i liked the trailer in parts.

when i first saw it i thought it was a spider. but nah u r right its a snake😆 so tumblr pe i read that its a lions head in a snakes mouth...meaning the martells (oberyn = viper) mean to harm/ kill myrcella baratheon (cersei's daughter/ lion). so for this she sends jaime to dorne to bring her back

ofc since show jaime is basically useless he doesnt do that & comes back empty handed😆

EDIT: btw where is sanaya irani these days? any new shows coming up of her? its been a while since rang rasiya now

hi lannister, yes the books are of another level which is not to detract from the quality of the show that is vastly different to your everyday shows-Character wise, its a huge ensemble each with their own story to tell, and yet all very much fascinating in their unique ways that I could write a line for everyone, book and serial, but that would go on.. characters like Jaimes grow on you and witnessing his subtle transformation is a delight, indeed the whole Lannister bunch are complex, their relationships and interactions with each other and others in Kings Landing..and its a shame Tywin had to go, the actor is just brilliantly effortless, I quite like Bronns reckless and down-to-earth attitude which blends well with Tyrions polished yet carefree manner that is his charm.
The Theon(Reek)/Ramsay and even Roose B dynamic is another interesting story arc. Im especially drawn to flawed characters with a duality to them and whenever their perspective is shown, its quite insightful which leads me onto new characters not yet shown in the show, from Victarion, Euron to Arianne.
Of course ive always been drawn to Jon, Tyrion, and Daenerys , and im deeply terrified and anxious to know what becomes of Jon Snow in Winds of Winter...

'Game Of Thrones' Alum Michelle Fairley NOT Returning As Lady Stoneheart In Season 5 Despite New IMDb Listing

Lady Stoneheart won't be appearing in the upcoming fifth season of "Game of Thrones" despite a new IMDb listing suggesting otherwise.

On Monday, Feb. 2, a Reddit post popped up showing the IMDb page of "Game of Thrones" alum Michelle Fairley with a new suspicious listing. The 51-year-old actress played Catelyn Stark in the first three seasons of the hit HBO fantasy drama, but in addition to her role as the Stark matriarch, her IMDb page also now cited her playing another character, the Hooded Woman (aka Lady Stoneheart), in the tenth episode of the show's upcoming installment.

Catelyn was murdered at the infamous Red Wedding, which aired on the penultimate episode of the third season of the show, titled "The Rains of Castamere." But one of the biggest twists in the novel series was when she resurrected from the dead as Lady Stoneheart after red priest Thoros of Myr used his resurrection prayer on her rotten cadaver.

A rep for Fairley, however, said that the new listing on the actress' IMDb page is a hoax. "There hasn't been any discussion about her returning to the show after Season 3," the rep told HuffPost Entertainment "As of now, this is completely incorrect."

Readers of Martin's novel series were disappointed when the show's Season 4 finale did not feature the return of Catelyn as the zombified and vengeful Lady Stoneheart. But Alex Graves, director of the season finale, seemed to have suggested during an interview with Vulture this past June that the character might actually be introduced in any of the upcoming season.

"I don't think there was room for it this season. I don't know what they're going to do about it, because it is certainly something people attached to," he told the outlet.

As far as "planting" is concerned, some plot details also suggest that the impending appearance of Lady Stoneheart may indeed happening.

"[Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss] took the trouble to introduce us to Beric Dondarrion (David Michael Scott) in Season 3. Dondarrion is the leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners who kept being brought back to life by the red priest Thoros of Myr (Paul Kaye). What would be the point of introducing the powers of resurrection if they didn't intend to use them on Catelyn?" wrote Bustle's Jefferson Grubb's in August last year.

Asked by TVLine last June if she would be open to play the role if ever showrunners decided to bring her character from the dead, Fairley said, "I don't know... I mean, I loved that job, I adored it and I made some great friends. I loved it. I don't know."

"Game of Thrones," returns Sunday, April 12, on HBO.

Here are new photos of Game Of Thrones characters learning the next book isn't done yet

As has become a beloved annual tradition, HBO has released an advance set of pictures from Game Of Thrones' upcoming season, and George R.R. Martin has released word that fans should not expect to see a new book in 2015 . This year those items complement each other, as this new gallery of fifth-season images captures its characters just as they were informed of Martin's announcement, and of the fact that they should probably just stay right there, just like that, for as long as they can hold out. So as always, let's take a look at the people of Westeros and relish their misery.

Arya Stark stands in wounded disbelief, having lost every member of her family and her closest friend"the large man she was saving to kill later"only for Martin to leave her without the promise of more dead loved ones, whose losses now sustain her.

Desperate, Arya finds a small beetle. "You're my sister now, and I love you," she says, crushing it between her fingers. It only helps a little.

Far away, Arya's half-brother Jon Snow delivers the news to his tentative ally, Stannis Baratheon, that Stannis still doesn't get to be king for a while, and that he should probably just cry about it. Stannis opens his mouth and emits a long, keening whine that lasts the entire season.

Informed of Martin's decision, sorceress Melisandre turns on a little mood lighting and suggests everybody pass the time by making some smoke babies. "We could make a whole mess of smoke babies over here," she says, gesturing to a romantic pile of logs and corpses.

Meanwhile, Daenerys keeps watch over her dragons, which sure are getting big. Boy are they getting big, and doing exciting, big dragon stuff. You'll see it someday. It's going to be so great. You can tell from Daenerys' face. Just keep looking at her face for a while.

"Sansa, as long as we have some time, did I ever share you with you my many clever analogies in regard to power and manipulation? Let's just stand here for a bit, and I'll tell you why a man is like the various things we see on this hill"beginning with that clump of brush over there..." [continues for a year]

In a great karmic comeuppance, it's now Ramsay Bolton who finds himself shackled by a cruel tormentor"George R.R. Martin"and rapidly losing the hope that he may someday be free to tear off more penises. Instead, Ramsay's trapped here with his dad and his new stepmom, enduring the endless torture of trying to be nice. His dad is even covering his penis. When will it end?!

"Oh, uh, do you like sticks?" Podrick asks in the awkward silence. "I also like sticks... I mean, not all sticks."

Brienne escapes by daydreaming of that time she was almost killed by a bear.

As ruler of a people who understand the finer things in life, the newly introduced Prince Doran Martell declares he will take advantage of this forced interim by sitting on a really nice chair. You know what, he's not even going to bother getting out of his silk robe and into his silk pants today. It's fine.

An incensed Ellaria Sand demands to see Doran. His bodyguard, Areo Hotah, informs her that it's robe time. "Maybe come back when it's not robe time," Areo says, like it's ever not robe time.

Another new character, Jonathan Pryce's High Sparrow, learns that he apparently put on his finest burlap sack for nothing. If we're just gonna stand here, he also may as well slip into something more comfortable, like a pile of brambles.

Back at King's Landing, Margaery actually welcomes the news of Martin's delay, which will give her so many more afternoons for tea parties with her friends and for not having to sleep with little boys. What's Cersei going to say about it? That's right, nothing. Have some tea, Cersei.

Cersei and Jaime decide to pass the time with a game of guessing what's in this mysterious box.

"Is it... incest?" Jaime says.

The game is over.

Finally, Lord Varys and Tyrion learn that, while George R.R. Martin is left alone to work, they'll simply have to spend a little more time than usual on their clever repartee, wending poignant metaphor and intricate riddle into fluid poetry that captures the cunning power plays and intricate brinkmanship they have long navigated so well.

"Um... I like your beard," Varys says.

It's going to be a long year.
