Angie, no need to be sorry ...I can understand, this thread is just for fun and we come here in our spare time only. For me too its hectic these days at work and later normal chores et all!! 😔..
Yeah..FIFA was full of surprises this time and I wanted Argentina to win in FIFA, I know they were underdogs. But Messy messed it up...it was a game of missed opportunities I felt.
Regarding Dhoom3 ..there were many spoofs..the ones I can remember is the starting fight of Abhishek Bachan, Uday Chopra..it was ridiculously comical; then how come a twin brother live indoors all the time away from the world 🤢...and another one is climax part ..they went from Chicago to Hoover dam or is it some other dam!! because as far as I know there is no such dam in Chicago. I look for logic when they have good star cast and spend millions of rupees/dollars on a movie. Btw., did you see my comment on EBP in last page 😊
Ladies..Did any of you watch Kick? Is it a superhero movie or a gangster movie...couldn't understand from the trailer.
Jia, I am also quite busy. So not getting much time. Have to finish one of the papers by next Wednesday and so far my brain is not working much. Also for some reason, I am sleeping a lot these days.
I did not watch the Argentina match, but I know that they could have won it if they had not missed those opportunities.
In Dhoom3, I did saw that starting fight of Abhishek and Uday Chopra and that put me to sleep until the twin thing came out. Then I saw that twin story and they presented it as if they are showing something unique. That was totally unbelievable. And that dam thing was hilarious. There is no dam in Chicago and going from Chicago to Hoover Dam in few minutes is just too comical. I guess they thought that nobody in India or the rest of the world would know about US Geography.
No, I did not see your comments on EBP. I did see Rekha's one day where she was giving up on Shlok. So I responded to that. I had gone to the forum because I had seen one Friday's episode which I had liked. Niranjan is back to being semi intelligent though it is still being shown as his fight vs. Astha's. But at least he is no longer dumb the way he was being portrayed. Astha is also being toned down and they are bringing back Shlok's original character - the ego and self righteousness. So if I ignore all that was shown since the end of Aditi track and watch these episodes as stand alone, then the episodes are much better. Niranjan is manipulating Shlok but in a more intelligent way where he is using Shlok's feelings for him and Anjali as well as his ego to drive distance between the two. Also even though they continue to mix traditionalism with Niranjan's evilness, they are showing that Niranjan's ego is one of the reasons where he cannot stand dissent. So I have watched last 3-4 episodes because of Niranjan, Shlok and Anjali.
Varad's affair story seems to be done quite badly. But at least they are showing Varad as a hypocrite and a person with double standards who takes easy way out and uses people. Not that I have any hopes from these CVs, but hopefully he would not be white washed by Astha. Sid and Jyoti are still dominating the show though they are now the most boring couple. But at least the quality has improved somewhat.
Anyway, for now I am again watching EBP from the middle of last week onwards. One of the reaosn is that I am getting bored of all other shows - YHM and EHT. They have gone towards the 6 month mark and so the logic and entertainment is going away from them.
