"July 4th 2010." He intertwined his fingers with mine. I smiled and glanced at him.

4th of July, the day America gained it's Independence from Great Britain, the day I achieved my independence and the day I met Reyaansh Singhania.

"Rey, I want to tell you a lot of things but just don't know where to begin. 4 years ago I was a complete mess. I literally gave up on life and knew nothing will be able to save me. Then you came, the missing piece of my life.

You accepted me knowing my flaws when my own blood didn't. I thank God everyday for bringing you into my messed up life. People say 'shit happens for a reason' & guess what? They were right, if all those things never happened I wouldn't have met you.

Call me crazy but I'm glad all those bad things happened to me. Because the only reason I met you here was because of that. And you have no idea how glad I am!

I still remember, that first day we met, the first look, the first touch, the first date, the first kiss, the first fight, basically the first everything! I seriously don't know what in the world I would do if I didn't have you in my life. Rey you're the morning sun to my yelda.

So Mr. Reyaansh Singhania will you become Mr. Reyaansh Taani Shekhawat?" I bit my lip not knowing how he would react to this crappy proposal.

"Did you just propose me?" Really? After this long-ass speech about how he's the best thing that happened to me, he's asking did you just propose me. WELL NO SHIT SHERLOCK!

"No baby I did not propose you, I proposed the plant behind you who happens to be the love of my life." I know he is doing this on purpose this idiot always does this.

"Sarcasm not appreciated babe. But seriously you just proposed me!" He semi yelled.

"I know, it's weird for a girl to propose a guy. And I don't have a ring and nothing special but I don't know. I just felt like this was the perfect moment to speak my heart. I really love you Rey. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" He smiled and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Tanni you are the love of my life, of course I will marry you." I remember when we first saw each other the biggest firework exploded making him be my light at the end of the tunnel.

"I love you future Reyaansh Taani Shekhawat" I dig my face into his neck.

"How?" Why does he have a ring in his money bag?

"Taani Shekhawat, I will be Reyaansh Taani Shekhawat, if you become Taani Reyaansh Singhania." He showed the ring dodging my question.

"Yes I will become Taani Reyaansh Singhania." I blushed as he put the ring on my finger and kissed my hand softly.

I pulled him into a kiss and he replied instantly. My hands went around his neck as his hands wrapped around my waist. As if on cue, the biggest and brightest firework exploded and Ellie's song Explosion were playing.

He deepened the kiss while I pulled him closer.

I closed my eyes feeling the effen zoo in my stomach having the party of their lives. He placed a soft kiss on my shoulders. Picking me up in his arms, he carried me to our bedroom.
