So finally even Portugal is out. Out of the 8 usual quarter finalists 4 are out in round one itself. So it's France, Germany, Brazil and Argentina who are the usual quarter finalists who have qualified for round of 16.

So finally Suarez is banned temporarily. The ban could've been avoided if the referee had given him a red/yellow card and a free kick to Italy in the match itself. Suarez has only himself to blame coz it's a BIG ban and he will have to sit out of imp league matches for Liverpool.

Saurez - Well, foul play should be punished and discouraged. However, for a repeat offender like him some counselling/psych analysis is required. I understand 2-3 year olds who bite all the time. But a world-class player, really?
