One thing that is still hooking me up on this show is the multiple tracks that are moved at the same time so that the interest level is maintained. The grip on the story is really tight and I hope they do continue this till the end. This seems to be a fixed episode show and is going to end in a year - Hoping that remains the same and the channel doesn't extend the show with stupid tracks.
I am still following EHT and here is the brief summary of the show last week.
- Sakshi gets trapped by emotional blackmail by Shourya and goes to talk to the Thakurs to get Shourya back on the cancer project
- Durga and Dr.Thakur play their cards very well and put the condition of getting Dev on to the project in order for the project to go ahead. Sakshi misses out on seeing Durga's photo during the havan ceremony. Dr.Thakur smartly says that the havan is for his wife Tara.
- Dev comes on the project and impresses everyone, Dr.Thakur feels he is innocent and not manipulative like the goenkas but Durga doesn't believe it and holds on to the grudge she has for Dev.
- Durga drives wedge between Dev and Shourya by making Shourya feel jealous. Shourya is one manipulative person and demands his father Raj that he remove Dev from the project by whatever means possible - A manipulative son at his best
- Sakshi understands that Shourya is manipulating Raj but is unable to understand why. A true shaatir woman who reads her husband in and out.
- Raj plays a smart game and gets Shourya trapped in a compromising position with a girl and gets photo evidence of the same. Tells Shourya point blank that he can't stand anyone threatening the 750 Cr Cancer project.
- Shourya is feeling damn jealous of Dev and Durga spending time together.
- And the best part is Durga's friend from US comes to visit Kolkata and by coincidence meets up with Sakshi and Sakshi being the smart shatir person invites the guy to stay with them so that she can figure out the enigma that is Durga. So finally the mask on Durga may slip as the real Durga is one chatter box and Sakshi is no fool to look through this ruse. This was why I was so excited about this track because now it is battle between two equally clever and shaatir ladies.
